SPECIAL FEATURES

• ​​Absorption: The Shield has golden alchemised electrum batteries built into the base of the shield, that can be used as a sort of supplemental buffer to assist with the ability of Tutaminis to absorb energy and force based attacks.
• Deployable: The Shield is built so that each individual piece can fall into one and other, forming into a smaller thick circle attachment placed on the Gauntlet.
• Redirection: Once the energy is placed in the Catalyst of the Electrum batteries, it can be more easily used by the wearer to be repurposed.
• Deflection: The Shield's central armour plating can be used to deflect beams of energy.

Strengths:

• Counter-Attack: The Shield itself not only serves as a protective tool, but uses alchemy as a way to easier counter-attack force and energy based attacks toward enemies. For example, if a opponent were to attack the user with lightning - the user could prop the shield up for defence and in tandem with their own use of Tutanimis could easier absorb the energy of the attack and redistribute the energy in an offensive measure.
• Amplification: Amplifies the users ability to use Tutanimis and Deflection greatly
• Compact: The Shield itself uses a motor in its centre to deploy the four individual plated pieces of the shield, this motor can also be used to return the four individual pieces of the shield to the Inner circle, allowing for it to be carried more easily.

Weaknesses:

• Deployed: When not deployed, the Shield and its alchemised qualities are entirely not in affect. This item, unlike most shields does not possess a passive protection through simply existing. It must be actively deployed and be used to gain any effect.
• Cumbersome: The Shield is, when fully deployed incredibly large and heavy. An enemies who's weight is used against them could be staggered through putting them off-balancing while the Shield is deployed.
• Sight: When using the Shield, the users ability to view the battlefield is prohibited to what ever part of themselves they aren't defending.
• Overload: With enough energy, the Shields systems can be overloaded and its special abilities nullified.

DESCRIPTION:
This Shield was developed by Tathra Khaeus himself in tandem with his most often used defensive force abilities of redirection and tutanimis, simply amplifying those abilities greatly. This serves the purpose of making particular situations in combat less strenuous to increase endurance and durability in combat.

The Shield can be used to slam into enemies, or simply block attacks rather than using its alchemy gifted traits. However, the Shield was built with these traits in mind, excelling in these particular areas rather than use as a particularly close range piece of equipment.
