SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Reactive Gel: Both the vest and accompanying leg armour have a four inch reactive Gel that hardens upon impact, and distributes offensive kinetic energy evenly across the wearers body providing superb kinetic defence.
  • Thrusters: The legs are the armour have dual calve and heel thrusters that allow for incredibly quick traversal of the battlefield. However, this ability is only sustainable for short periods of time.
  • Strength Boosters: The Vest contains a tiny spinal attachment that directly connects to the users bloodstream to increase stamina and muscle performance during a fight.
Strengths:
  • Protection: The Impervium plating and Gel Layer provide an unbeatable level of protection from Kinetic attacks, coming as close as one can to nullifying the factor of injury from solely kinetic strikes.
  • Thrusters: The Thrusters built into the lower legs of the armour provide an excellent way to remain mobile and quickly traverse a battlefield or cross the distance between oneself and their opponent. They also provide additional strength to kinetic attacks when used in unison.
  • Strength Boost: The spinal injections in the vest allow for increased durability and strength, amplifying strength by 0.5x standard.
  • Agility: This armour is non-restrictive, the Vest acts as a form of Impervium Gambeson - meaning that the Vest is made up of a mix of smaller plates; allowing for manoeuvrability and flexibility.
Weaknesses:
  • Massive Target: This armour, is simply additional to the already massive side of Tathra Khaeus - he is a massive target standing at just over nine feet. He can't be missed, even by Stormtrooper aim.
  • Thundering March: Stealth isn't a word that exists in the Draelvasier vocabulary, this suit is so heavy and so is its wearer; sounds like a small army marching with every step.
  • EMP: This suit uses a series of electrical components to keep its user in tip-top shape; an EMP will temporarily short all of the suits systems.
  • Overload: Coaxium, even in its refined form is an explosive substance - therefore if the right part of the armour is targeted, the fuel for the thrusters could potentially cause a large explosive the user could simply not escape from.
  • Sleeveless Punk: Due to the nature of the Draelvasier beliefs, they tend to wear only the bare minimum regarding armour if they can. Therefore, this armour only protects the chest and legs.
  • Gambeson: The nature of the armour leaves visibly less-protected areas that in turn allow for lethal piercing strikes.

DESCRIPTION:
This combat vest was designed to provide an optimal level of combat efficiency for the leader of the Bryn'adûl whilst also adhering to their beliefs in lesser amounts of armour, this in turn serves as a form of symbolic morale booster for the warriors on the battlefield. Tathra in his older years also requires more limber gear, his greater level of skill and already incredibly tough skin allowing for less protective gear to be worn.

Combatively, this armour does not serve any other purpose than as a sort of 'buffer' to Tathra's already present abilities. However, it does also grant him the ability of flight for short periods of time.
