Brutal Lifeline

She rarely traveled outside of Al-Khali anymore but soemtimes you just had to go places.. mostly to acquire improvements. Stoneworkers and technologies that would beef up Al-Khali's defenses and capabilities.. she had ideas to expand and build into the mountain a grand library to go with the medical centers. Massive and filled with knowledge, more pens for her creatures and as she was kneeling down in the darkened street over the person who was choking for the moment... she watched her. Golden eyes flashing and fangs on display with the flesh between her shark like teeth. She had come here for new technologies on Al-Khali and then gone out for a stroll and a bite. "Now what was that price you said?" She was curious and moving as the scent of flesh and blood was in the air.

Lifeline chased a young woman through an alleyway, they had separated from thier group of friends, taking a shortcut through alley that Lifeline had been waiting in. Now they were getting closer to a main boulevard, just one more trim and she would lose her prey, it was time to stop toying with her, the woman rounded a corner just a few meters ahead of Seras when Lifeline pounced on her, knocking her to the ground. Lifeline would have like to play with her food a little but being so hungry she didn't bother, just taking a nice meaty bite out of her prey's throat, letting them drown in their own blood. Lifeline finally looked up and locked eyes with Seras.

Seras felt it and heard it, the look of another predator taking down their prey as they turned their head up to look at her. FOr a moment she was debating what to do... they could fight each other for their food or just ignore each other.... but she rather liked the idea of seeing another predator here. Moving quickly with the force in her limbs she had bloody chunks of meat in her mouth while she was watching. She looked down at the one who was there and this one was.... diferent She wasn't a garhoon she was something else and Seras snarled a little in challenge but mostly was looking at the woman drowning in her own blood. The scent powerful before she crouched down licking at her scarred lips with the row of treeth gleaming.

Lifeline felt relived, and curious at the same time, whoever this person was they both were not disgusted by her feeding habits, and seemed to need to feed on others like herself was new to her, she kept her eyes locked on the other for a minute before swallowing the chunk of meat in the mouth and speaking up. "Were you also made in a lab?"

It made no sense but it was the first this that slid out of her mouth, Lifeline had never seen someone else eating a person before, so she was caught off balance, having been born in a lab herself she just kinda assumed that the any other flesh eaters must also have been.

"No." Seras said it and standing tall she looked at the thing.. if she had been grown in a lab she could have been a garhoon's offspring they were usually lab grown but she didn't have any teeth as Seras moved forward looking at her. "I grow things in labs little one." She retracted her teeth and moved holding a piece of flesh in her fingers and chewing on it. "Now what are you I wonder, just something to eat or are you something more. What is it that makes you worth me not killing?" She said it and stood there before moving back a little and looking at the bodies themselves around with them. She left the mutilated corpses there before motioning and licking at her mouth.

"Well I don't taste very good, trust me, I've tried, although that might be some anti-cannibalistic instinct from one of my donor species." Lifeline stated as she wiped the blood away from her mouth with a rag she had in her pocket.

"And I'm a lot more interesting alive than dead, I was made specifically to out heal ageing, and you couldn't take a look at how that works if I'm dead." She continued, although Lifeline wasn't lying as far as she knew there wasn't any way way for the other to know that without keeping her alive, she tensed up and readied for a fight, extending the jagged organ known as a telum from shoulder blade, coming from her Rapax donor while one of her hands reached for the heavy blaster pistol on one of her hips, "But I will fight you if I have to. I won't go quietly."

Seras watched her and there was deep amusement playing across her face as she motione dwith her hand. "Hmmm you have spirit and this hunt has made me more then sated for now. Come with me little one. We can talk and oh the interesting things we might have to talk about." She said it while she was walking now and turned around without a sense of dread or fear. She wasn't worried about being attacked the garhoon themselves were dangerous hunters and when she was walking her hand clenched for a moment revealing the milky white talisman... the soul stealer had been built into her armor and it could mark anyone to drain them of their will.. her saber plaguebringer was there on her hip with its hyposprayers to release biological nerve agents.

"Good, I don't think I could eat another body."

Behind Lifeline the body that she was feeding on was clearly almost completely clean, just the organs and bones were left, she was pretty clearly implying that she would kill and eat Seras if she needed to, she was a little peeved at being called little one though.

"Despite how I look I'm probably older than you, Biologically I'm twenty six, but chronologically I'm in my eighties, so you should probably think twice before calling me the young one." Lifeline sounded pretty coacky when speaking about her real age, blissfully unaware of the Garhoon's real age.

"ONly eighty." She said it while walking and going into a room. "I am over five hundred years old." Where she was looking and trying to check it all out. She wanted to work on some things though as the city provided endless test subjects and even more with some fo the children who were running around. THe sith doctor prepared going into a medical lab with them lined up waiting for vaccines to protect them from plagues and sickness on the planet. THey were all so trusting in her even though her breathing was mechanical, her actions were there as she sat down checking out with all of them. She motioned for the girl to sit around.

Lifeline followed her, not entirely trusting, but curious about what the other flesh eater was doing here exactly, so she tagged along, and would only mildly surprised to see her head into the laboratory, but followed anyway, this planet had just seen an epidemic of an influenza, noting too major, but enough to mean that platy of these vaccination labs were in every city and most had lines out the door.

"So, what exactly is your plan here? A bit of bio-terrorism? Kinda cliché though, kinda boring, to many holovids about it."

"Do I look like a terrorist?" SHe said it and was a little disappointed in what they were all going to do. She was giving some vaccine to the children but also injecting a few of them with different bioweapons. "I have no reason to care about a cause... this is business you could say. I want to see what the new bio weapons will do." SHe said it and looked at the shocked expressions on the faces of a being looking at her. "You won't say anything.. otherwise I shall find you and tear your throat out. the police willl not care enough to try and take me in." He didn't seem to welll disbelieve her as the man left and Seras looking at the other one.

Lifeline spoke again when the next person left. "The best terrorist doesn't look like one," She said with a shug.

"But I don't like to sit back and wait, watching from a far like what you're going doing here, I like to be up close and watch, the more personal the better." She produced a scalpel from somewhere and the quickly made it disappear again, up her sleeve. Lifeline was one hundred percent about the hands on, something she picked up from the scientists who had created her, it was much more satisfying than looking at reports and numbers, it was why she used her own small clinic as a base for her own small experiments.

Seras looked at her and moved quickly, force enhanced reflexes when she looked upon the girl and there wasn't anyone in the room as she spoke almost with a snarl under the mask. "And how has that been working for you? Looking for scraps, taking whatever unclean drek might be there and around." She said it more and without much effort. She moved back to look at the patients who were coming and tagged a few as they went through the line. The biometrics marking them as free of disease and problems... perfect meat to eat. The ones with the vaccines some she would give different viruses to counter and work with their predisposition.
