Brunas' story is a tale old as time.
Born to an affluent family on the Sith world of Dromund Kaas, he was afforded some of the best education money could buy and certainly used this to his advantage. Well learned, well spoken, he was everything his Father could have hoped for.
That he showed an affinity toward the Force only made matters that much greater.
He was encouraged to attend the Sith Academy of Kaas City and did so with eagerness. He fell into their ranks rather simply, he did not flourish quite so much as he had with general academia but he was not a failure. Merely average in his studies. In his youth he was a rather proficient practitioner of several lightsaber forms, Makashi was the first he truly took under his stride, a gentleman's form, though it wasn't until he tapped into Ataru that he found his true potential and began to soar.
Between the unending wars which ravaged the region of space he'd been raised within he continued his studies, and slowly but surely grew within the Force. His mother's influence gave him a love of all things green, and he tended to several gardens throughout his Apprenticeship. Though most looked upon these endeavors as being little more than a waste of time, it taught Brunas the importance of life and of death; he held it within his hands when it came to his plants, and that sense of power was intoxicating.
It wasn't until he was deep into his life as a Knight that he began to dabble with the likes of Necromancy. He longed for that same hold of life and death he felt within his gardens, only on a much grander scale. To be able to snatch the life from a being, and then bring them back into a form of undeath that he could control with his fingertips. Indeed the two brightest aspects of his life became entwined, he would dispose of the corpses once done with them and utilize them as fertilizer for his plants. Some he even grew directly within said corpses, mushrooms and the like which seemed to thrive on the decay.
As life went on and younger and far more ablebodied individuals came along, Brunas resigned himself to a simpler life assisting within the Academy proper. He would teach, he would grow food and poisons and other plants of use, and he would continue on with his studies. He took up a position within the Archives, helping to keep watch over the vast rows of tomes and untapped knowledge, while guiding the younger generations toward that which they sought.
Eventually he came to be on Korriban, following the destruction of much of the world's Sith epicenters at the hands of the Jedi. He was happy to assist in the reclamation efforts and came to settle down there when everything stabilized once more. No longer did Korriban belong to the Empire, though, a new sect lay claim over the world. Intent on avoiding another purge of a world so important as Korriban, he remained all the same and put his efforts into helping the Sith Eternal achieve their goals.
Or, at the very least, help their students achieve theirs.
