Standard Tank Round
  • The Leopard M1-Tank utilizes a tank shell very similar to that in design to theHEI/AP. At the front of the shell is an ionized compound to help the slug break through shields and relatively little to no resistance, allowing the shell to pierce most standard shields.
  • The shell has two layers. The first layer is one of quadanium steel that is 5mm thick to offer relative protection to the shell and to offer it a relatively powerful and robust metal to act as a protective and frameworked shell to deliver the interior payload. The layer that lies atop of the quadanium steel is an equally as thick 5mm ionized copper shell. The ionized copper is not supposed to survive piercing through a shell. Instead, it's main purpose is used to pierce through and break through shields to deliver the explosive interior payload to decimate enemy armor and infantry units. The copper shell holds the ionization charge which allows the shell to breach shields. In most cases, this very ionized shell will absorb the energy emitted by the shield, stripping away the copper shell and leaving the quadanium steel shell intact, including the interior ionized tip. This ionized tip will then, if everything goes according to 'plan,' be able to allow the tank shell to pierce through vehicles shielding.

Strengths
  • Autoloader for the main gun
  • Powerful main gun that can destroy most medium-armored vehiclar devices
  • Anti-infantry guns capable of easily mowing down infantry
  • 45mm Guns to guard flanks
Weaknesses
  • Tracks are very susceptible to mines and rpgs
  • All other guns, excluding the main gun, have to be manually loaded in a process that can take up to a maximum of twenty seconds
  • Due to the weight of the tank, is makes river crossings difficult and oftentimes fruitless ventures which can waterlog and force the tank to a stop
  • Missle Pods have a maximum use of three volleys before needing to be manually reloaded
  • Tracks can get caught in mud, temporarily forcing the vehicle to a stop until it can force itself out of mud
  • Electronic systems (IE; comns, gps, etc) can become temporarily disabled from EMP fire
Description:
  • The M1-Leopard is the first battle tank in a recently developed and upcoming line of 'war tanks' being developed by the G.W.S to help support it's fledging and upcoming private military organization. The M1-Leopard will become the first in a line of tanks called 'Tiger-58's', vehicles designed for constant vehicular warfare that are meant to burn through enemy armor and infantry to pave the way for allied infantry units.
  • The armor of the M1-Leopard makes use of a combination of quadanium steel and durasteel in conjunction with one another for a more reinforced and 'tanky' build to try and absorb impact damage and kinetic damage to pave the way for more powerful but less heavily armored tanks that follow behind the charging Leopard across the frontline. The frame is an alloy of both quadanium and durasteel to offer supple support for the tank with basic and rudimentary durasteel armor plating to offer protection to the tank. Atop of the armor plating, is a multi-layered system of impact gel and depleted uranium designed into an interlocking 'shell' system to create very defensive protection above the normal durasteel armor. Between the depleted uranium outer shell and the slick durasteel armor plating, therein lies a chemical mixture of thermal gel and impact gel. This chemical gel mixture helps to fuse the depleted uranium to the durasteel armor, along with reinforcing the depleted uranium shell to support a strong defense against missiles and shell attacks.
