CH-WATBEAD__20742.jpg

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Angel Arms
  • Affiliation: Angel Arms
  • Market Status: Closed Market
  • Model: N/A
  • Modularity: Can be placed into any gel ammunition such as shotgun shells, ballistic holders, so long as it as in atmospheric or planetside combat.
  • Production: Mass-Produced
  • Material: Bromine, Gallium, Oxidizer Foam
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • It is held together in a three-stage system. Consisting of a gel outliner made of Gallium, a secondary foam like exterior made of Oxidizer Foam, and then the Bromine.
  • When the gel is fired upon, the Gallium starts to dissolve from firing out of the barrel and activates the other two key components. Judging by what it is fired from, it is generally wise to use it in close quarters combat scenarios but can be adjusted for longer ranges.
  • Once hitting a target, the Oxidizer Foam starts to expand, rust and destroy any metal it latches upon, save for harder to destroy materials such as Beskar. Rusting them within a few seconds to a mere minute, rendering most weapons useless and armor becoming practically sheets of paper.
  • After a few seconds, the Bromine activates and becomes a very poisonous gas. Irritating and causing chemical burns across the body wherever it touches, generally resulting in death, If the Oxidizer Foam does not render you harmless, the Bromine will.
STRENGTHS
  • End All of All: It can kill Force Users with their lightsabers becoming effectively useless on impact, releasing the toxic gas, it can kill Droids through rusting them to death, it can kill the Vongs amazing creatures through chemical burns and toxic fumes. Essentially, this ammo works for nearly everything.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Space!: It cannot work in space as it needs enough heat to activate after firing from the launcher, there is not enough in the cold vacuum of space!
  • This Has No Ending: It is poisonous and can rust for a full minute anything it touches. Safe to say, if hitting the wrong thing, catastrophic consequences can happen.
  • Don't Hold It!: Holding it for to long will activate the gel ammo also, it must be used in the proper holder for the ammo or has to be a large enough round to not set off the entire gel round from going off from natural heat from an organics hand.
  • Shields Online!: Having a shield generator makes this entire ammo worthless, rendering it destroyed on impact.
DESCRIPTION
The idea of gel like ammo was not something new, though the idea to make it work has always been the true challenge. Making acid like ammo has been problematic in the new era, having no true way to get around the new armor like substances of the modern era though there has been some breakthroughs. Things such as the Weaponized Breaching Oxidizer Foam has been a hidden gem for several decades in use for breaking into very highly guarded areas in concentrated amounts, making blast doors seem useless in minutes time. However far it was weaponized, even for sabotage operations, it cannot seem to work in a true combat setting. That was however, till someone dropped in the laboratory a vial of Bromine, making a catastrophic acid hazard.

Angelus being in attendance, had an idea as they were also demonstrating the properties of Gallium as a way to contain the Bromine. Within a day, he had access to the laboratory and conducted experiments for two days straight attempting to create a formula to use the two combined to hold the Oxidizer Foam, as well as use the Bromines naturally acidic and toxic nature. After it was fully finished, it was demonstrated quite harshly with a simple flick from the fingers to destroy a monitor that had been infested with bugs. Within fifteen seconds, the monitor became rusted scrap and the bugs killed from the inside from the toxic gas and chemical burns it was inflicted. Giving it a small success, he would patent the ammo and see where it would take him later on.
