- COMIN' TO GETCHA! - The Broadsword is more than an "averange" torpedo. The length is just the start as this weapon will travel the length of a system and still potentially hit its target.
- TWO STAGE DETONATION - The first stage actually sets off seconds before impact the nose emits an EMP burst that spreads across the area. Impact brings the remaining eighty-five percent of the payload.
- CAN BE SHOT - This is a huge torpedo/bomb, but that size is also a weakness as a crackshot "in the box" (aka: a good fighter pilot) could shoot the weapon down before it reaches its target.
- "... AND STILL POTENTIALLY HITS ITS TARGET" - The length that this weapon can travel is also a detriment in that if the distance is great enough there is more than enough time to deploy countermeasures.
- SUSCEPTIBLE TO COUNTERMEASURES - All ordinance are, but this one a bit more than most as to make room for more payload, non-essential systems like systems that would power through countermeasures were not included.
This is not the Proton Torpedo that destroyed the Death Star. It is exponentially bigger and more powerful. The broadsword is just that, simple solid and powerful with incredible range.
