SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Shield Generator: A small shield generator keeps the vehicle protected at all times except when it fires its weapon.
  • Impervium Landing Shields: The Broadside is fully capable of being dropped from orbit and landing with minimal damage. The shields on its legs come together to form a pointed tip, which when combined with the legs acting as a high tech suspension and actual shields, allows it to survive both the flaming entry and sudden landing.

STRENGTHS

Legacy of the Deathstar:
The Proton Beam Cannon was directly based off of schematics for the ones used for the Deathstar and is incredibly powerful, capable of a prolonged beam of energy capable of destroying most shields and melting/blowing up most forms of armor. The weapon is also on a turret that can rotate 360 degrees.

Hell-Jumper: Orbital Deployment means that the Broadside can be where it needs to be quite quickly.

A Tank on Legs: Shielding, Impervium armor on the legs, and thick Durasteel plating across its hull mean that the Broadside is incredibly durable.

WEAKNESSES

Fault in the System:
The energy required to fire the weapon is intense, pulling away from other systems, specifically the shields.

Clunk: It's slow, bulky, and doesn't go faster than the average walking speed.

Life Alert: If you knock it over, very very little is capable of setting it upright again.

DESCRIPTION

The Broadside is the heavy artillery compliment for the mostly infantry based 202nd Legion. Small, mostly transported by ship, and incredibly powerful, the Broadside has evened the playing field against mechanized opponents since its conception during the height of the Gulag Plague.
