APPEARANCE:
Brinna is a beautiful young woman with dark brown hair, almost black, which falls below her waist and is tied at the tips to form a dolphin-tail split. Brinna’s typical attire throughout all her appearances is some variation of a sleeveless shirt that exposes her midriff, a miniskirt.
BIOGRAPHY:
Brinna was born on Coruscant and grew up with her sister Myri. Along with their parents and uncle the Dara sisters lived in a Thyrsian community in the lower levels of Coruscant. Brinna’s father was not fully Thrysian and was a bit of an outcast in their community despite being completely committed to Thrysian culture. When Brinna was three her father took a job as security with a smuggler. He was in and out of the family’s life from that point forward.
With their father not a consistent presence in their lives, Brinna and Myri’s uncle took over as the major male role model. He took to teaching both girls Teräs Käsi. Though she was a good fighter and enjoyed sparring, Brinna also developed an interest in technology, specifically computers. When she was thirteen Brinna signed up for classes to learn more. She snuck away from the home every afternoon when sparring was complete and snuck into whichever class seemed most interesting on that day. She never paid so quite a few times she was kicked out of a class, but she loved it and seemed she was quite good at it too. One of the teachers saw that talent and took her on for private tutoring, in all things computer legal and not.
By fourteen her father had stopped returning home at all. No one knew whether that was because something bad had happened to him, or he just decided it was not worth it to try and force himself into the Thrysian community, even for his family. At sixteen Brinna used her computer slicing skills to track down her father. She found that there was no trace, even for her of Ran Dara in two years and she decided that she was going to leave home and track him down. The last known stop of Ran Dara was Nar Shaddaa.
On Nar Shaddaa she met Shoan Dystra at a bar she had seen mentioned in records for her father. The two got along quickly and have been dating ever since. Brinna spends most of her time looking for anything that would tell her the fate of her father. In the small amount of time away from her data searches and Shoan, she does odd jobs to help out Shoan and she is plays with her newest toy an old ship A.I. that Brinna is working to personalize for her own use someday.
