[SIZE=12pt]A mystery in its own right, Brimn'r is not your typical blade. And by no means was this blade unearthed by any traditional means. No, the peculiar character that is Tireya, followed a path far from what anyone would have ever expected to retrieve and later own this relic of her world’s past. For beyond all else, Rimans possess a particular fear for that which they neither know nor comprehend. Such thing as the Force or the interplay of spirits would strike a nerve with any of this lowly, strange world. So why was Tireya different? What made it so that she accepted that which others did not? So much so that she could brave to path to Brimn'r.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Well that story is too long a journey to discuss over the teetering flame of the campfire, but needless to say, she was led there by another spirit. A spirit that is the sole reason she remains alive to this day.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Brimn'r is a sword forged centuries ago by a name that has long since faded from the pages of history. With a handful of special abilities that have by way of either enchantment or by the use of the materials that construct it, this blade is truly something to be marveled by the modern man. Its blade possesses an intricate design, though whether purposefully construed in its forging or by the way it was enchanted is unknown. The designs and patterns struck against the blade serve to be nothing more than cosmetic in nature.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]The songsteel used as the base for this weapon gives it a luminescent, silvery appeal when not made to resonate in another shade. However, it also gives way to this weapon being highly resistant to lightsabers. The norris root dyed leather that provides spirals and wraps the handle proves to be a comfortable application as well as providing a certain energy and blaster resistance to that area of the weapon. Also, because of the dye concocted from the norris root, it has gained a slight crimson overtone. Though a lorrdian gemstone is currently secured into the pommel of Brimn'r, it can be easily exchanged for another, and whichever abilities or augmentations might be brought on by its usage.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]However, the truly fascinating part of this weapon comes by way of its enchantments which give it not one, but two unique abilities not normally seen in a blade. Firstly, this blade glows a fascinating shade of blue in the presence of spirits, be they malicious or benevolent. Finally, the blade of this weapon has the ability to absorb store energy within and later release the pinned up energy in one devastating, concussive blast. The application sounds amazing until one realizes there is no way to control when it will be released. Only that the next strike following its reaching of its potential unleashes the grotesque effect.[/SIZE]
