Rusty
Purveyor of Fine Weaponry
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The basic premise is simple: Rusty wanted to see how much force could actually be generated with a brick in a sock. One night in a bar, after entirely too much to drink,
The Monster
agreed to donate enough FM-003, an extremely durable alloy that had the right properties to make a 20 meter long sock made from tiny ringlets, kinda like an exotic chainmail sock meant for a krayt dragon. Rusty then forged a brick from roughly 30 kilograms of osmium, a naturally occurring element that's both extremely tough and rather dense. The next step of the plan is to stick a nuclear warhead under the brick, which is placed inside the sock, which is then securely anchored into the ground.
If all goes as planned, the nuke will send the sock in an arc at considerable velocity. The impact energy will then be measured, and records will be submitted to any relevant breweries that keep track of galactic records.

- It's a brick in a sock.
- It's a brick.
- But it's in a sock.
- Generates a tremendous amount of kinetic force on impact.
- Not technically a weapon. The Brick In A Sock is a scientific device designed to see just how much kinetic energy can be generated with a brick in a sock. However it must be classified as a weapon due to those pesky governmental regulatory agencies that get titchy about nuclear warheads being used in their area of authority.
