OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To submit an invidividual field disruptor manufactured to the specific requirements of the company.
  • Canon Link: Individual Field Disruptor.
  • Permissions: N/A.
  • Primary Source: N/A.
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Manda Tactical Battlenet Compatibility: If the module is faced with a shield that it is not currently patched to be able to penetrate, one that is sufficiently new and advanced such that the devices vast database does not have its signature stored, it can make use of data from both its mounting platforms as well as other Manda equipped platforms to attempt to modulate itself to be able to overcome these shields.
  • Droid Brain
STRENGTHS
  • No Shields: Unlike field disruptors of yesteryear which were vague at best regarding whether they could affect all manner of modern shielding or not, Breshig War Forge Consolidated's field disruptor is capable of affecting all manner of shields. The company makes it a point to update the device to keep up with changing market trends and new developments. The device itself can also 'learn' from past experiences with different types of generators, and help fine tune the energy signatures it uses to disrupt them.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Shields: Unfortunately the device also affects the shields on the platform it is mounted on as long as it is active.
DESCRIPTION
"Breshig War Forge Consolidated 'Usen'ye'-class Field Disruptor. For when you need to say usen'ye to someone's shields."
-Breshig War Forge Consolidated marketing slogan.

When developing several products, Breshig Hypernautics came across the the lack of compatibility with field disruptors and certain models of shields. As a result, the company put their R&D division to work. The work itself wasn't entirely difficult, though took considerable survey and obtaining of samples of the various shield technologies available on the market. Following this long process, however, they were able to create a field disruptor that was able to refer to the considerable database they'd installed to tune it's energy signature such that it may disrupt a particular form of shield.
Not satisfied with this, they installed a heuristically processing droid brain. This allowed the decice to 'learn' from past experiences with different types of generators and then help fine tune the energy signatures it uses to disruptor them. Additionally, following the merger, they used installed a compatibility patch for the company's Manda tactical battlenet module to allow it to make use of sensor data from more than just its mounting platform.
The only real downfall with the device was that it affected the shields of the platform it was installed on as well as any friendly shields in the area just as it could affect enemy shields.
