PRODUCTION INFORMATION​

• Manufacturer: Breshig War Forge Consolidated.
• Affiliation: Breshig War Forge Consolidated and Strill Securities.
• Material: Duranium frame (weapon and armature), dallorian alloy coated inner barrel, duravlex reinforced barrel, reinforced duraplast reinforcement, combat de-ionizer, ultrachrome wiring, plas-bonded ostrine cooling coils, servo motors and pulse cannon components.

SPECIAL FEATURES​

• Armor/HUD Sync: The weapon syncs to armor HUD and sensor systems. Target acquisition and assignment is done via armor sensor and HUD systems respectively.
  
  • Heuristic Processor: A heuristic processor is included to handle the real-time processing requirements of the weapon.
• Slave Targeting Mode: The weapon can be set to follow the user's head motions, allowing for faster targeting of units not immediately in front of the user.
• In-built 1-250x Extreme Range 'Kyrayc Sur'haai' Optic System.
• Armature folds and stows on the back when not in use.
• Fire Modes: The PC-03S has three fire modes; semi-automatic, two-round burst and fully automatic.
• Integrated Barrel Cryo Cooling Lattice: The weapon's cryo cooling lattice keeps the weapon from overheating under normal firing. However, pushing the weapon past it's tolerances can cause the cooling system to lock the weapon's firing mechanism to perform a mandatory coolant flush.

STRENGTHS​

• Fast Projectile Speed: Each bolt or pulse of fusion plasma is incredibly fast, making avoiding or in the case of force users, blocking/deflecting the bolt difficult.
• Fast Fire Rate: The weapon boasts a very high rate of fire, making it perfect for a variety of tasks such as area suppression and engaging large groups of hostiles.
• Armor-Piercing: Each bolt/pulse of fusion plasma is extremely hot. Hot enough to melt flesh and bones, as well as armor and natural carapace.

WEAKNESSES​

• Overkill: Pulse weapons don't typically have a stun setting and have a high likelihood to cause lethal wounds, making them unsuitable for use in scenarios where a live capture is preferrable or required.
• Volatile: The gas medium for pulse weapons is volatile. Reloading the weapon is a process that should be carried out with care. In addition, should the weapon suffer any notable damage it would be unwise to continue using it.

DESCRIPTION​

The PC-03S pulse cannon is an updated over-the-shoulder backplate armor-mounted version of the PC-02 Pulse Cannon developed. produced and sold by the company for decades now. With armor-mounted weapons becoming less of a specialist tool and more of a force multiplier among company troops, the company sought to expand its collection of armor-mounted weapon systems. The PC-02 also takes advantage of all the improvements that the PWCU-01 Pulse Weapon Chassis Upgrade, greatly improving cooling and ion resistance.​
