GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: Standard
  • Climate: Being tidally locked to its host star has resulted in the far side of Brekla II existing in perpetual night, while the near side exists in perpetual day. Near side is much hotter and has extreme weather such as lightning storms, heavy rainfall, and powerful winds. Far side has much tamer weather conditions, but is in an eternal winter. Climate of the planetside colony is controlled by nature of multiple Climate Control Domes housed in the command center of the colony.
  • Primary Terrain: Mountains, deserts, grasslands
  • Atmosphere: Type II
LOCATION INFORMATION
  • Capital City: N/A
  • Planetary Features: Treatech shipyard and employee housing
  • Major Locations:
    • Treatech Shipyard: The only place on Brelka II with life, the Treatech facilities on the far side of the planet provide a space where build ships can be built and repaired, and where projects deemed unworthy or impossible for the Betrayer Moon can be worked on.
    • Command Center: Administrative and security headquarters for the shipyard
    • B2 Skyhook: Skyhook built just outside the main facility to assist in delivering and receiving products or supplies, high levels of security

POPULATION
  • Native Species: N/A
  • Immigrated Species: Treatech Employees/None
  • Population: Insignificant
  • Demographics: Treatech employees are of many species, but most tend to be near-humans. Aliens that are not near-human are rare.
  • Primary Languages: Galactic Basic
  • Culture: The culture is dictated by the Treatech Pledge, the Treatech Employee Code of Conduct, Standard Shipyard Worker Protocol, and the Jhiaxus System Personnel Contract. Most aspects of life are dominated by corporate expectations. Value to the company is highly valued and employees are well aware that those who prove themselves to be beneficial to Treatech recieve benefits. Treatech profits off employees by encouraging tribalism between jobs, which results in groups of workers competing against other kinds of workers. Due to the competition existing between jobs and not between individuals in the same jobs, all aspects of production are increased by the desire to be rewarded. Rewards are more often granted to entire professions, rather than individuals, though individual rewards and promotions are not uncommon.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Corporate Protectorate
  • Affiliation: Treatech
  • Wealth: High: Funded by Treatech, which allots significant funds into census studies, construction, security, and other services.
  • Stability: High: Extremely stable due to extreme levels of corporate monitering and interference.
  • Freedom & Oppression: Work and personal hours are strictly regulated, communications between workers are very lightly monitered, while any communication off world are highly monitered and reglated. Personal freedom is limited due to the necessity of secrecy tied to Treatech operations and presence in the Jhiaxus System. Travel on the surface of Brelka II is highly regulated, with Treatech providing the only transportaion options. This is both to protect those on the surface due to the harsh nature of the planet, but also to ensure that those on site remain on site. Those on Brelka II are there to work, but many employees also live on site. Due to the harsh conditions of the planet, and to somewhat counteract the harsh expectations of the personnel in the Jhiaxus System, the housing options that Treatech provides are far above average for what is expected of companies in similar situations. Food is high quality as are residences, social options, and luxury items. Treatech is currently experimenting with housing employee families due to lowered production rates stemming from dissatisfaction with the extreme monitering of communication. Some employees are permitted to bring their families to the facility, which has resulted in a small town starting to grow around the main facility. The presence of civilians has led to an increase in politics, which has led Mr. Janus to allow Brelka II minor autonomy in selecting a representative for the small town outside the shipyard. Due to the controlled climate, these townspeople are able to mimic life on other planets through practices such as gardening and limited farming.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: Highly secured through the use of Lockdown droids and surveillence. Actually military capabilities of the facility are dubious at best, but the presence of the droids is for security and worker management, not to exist as an army. Military presence comes from the powerful fleet that patrols the system and uses Brelka II as a homebase and repair yard.
  • Technology: Galactic Standard
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Discovered in towards the end of the Jhiaxus Survey Project, Brelka II was initially written off as a useless planet due to the lack of life and lack of exploitable resources. However, because it exists away from the civilization on Horix and features a "dark" side, Brelka II was chosen as the homebase for TSF-NULL. Most of the activity in the Jhiaxus system is done by scientists or members of the Treatech fleet, but the presence of a shipyard provides job opportunities for the average person. The Treatech facility started out small, a barebones yard where the fleet could dock and find repairs. As more and more projects began in the system though, the facility on Brelka II started to become overwhelmed by the increase in system traffic. Plans were initially to

Due to the high requirements of manpower demanded by the operations in the system, Treatech is considering using certain planets in the system as decoy colonies to cover up their more secret work. The growing town on Brelka II functions both as a way to
