Breaking A Spine.

Urya limped out from behind the trees. She had leaves in her hair, and dirt smudged on her face. The tree had thankfully saved her from most of the shockwave, but the residual still had enough power to fling her to the ground like a ragdoll a few feet away. "I'm fine." She mumbled, her arm still dangling uselessly. She waved at the apparent corpse. " .. It is dead? Because I have a few choice shots in the head for this maniac!"

Once she was on the other side of the tree, she slumped down to the roots, gazing up at the damage the poor thing had undergone. Deep gouges from bullets dug deep into the heart of the plant, and the shockwave had splintered the bark. " ... nerf herder. What did the tree ever do to it?"

Unconsciousness drifted over the monstrosity as his body was butchered by the Jedi even after he had fallen. It only went to show just how ruthless this galaxy had become, how much willpower there was within individuals just to show that they would do anything to ensure their own survival. Then something happened, a flicker of images flashed through Detritus' mind in one quick burst. There was still brain activity going on, but not enough life to signal the Jedi over for another jab.

The creature regained very little grasp on the real world, hearing bits and pieces of conversation go on around him as both the Jedi and his cyborg companion talked back and forth about Detritus' current state and whether or not they should waste the body; a savage notion, not even a monster would play with its prey's corpse. That was simply both rude and a waste of ammunition - that is to say if the cyborg was sincere.

The safest bet was to just play dead for now and wait for the two to leave. The creation had endured extensive bodily destruction but remained alive due to all its cybernetics and drugs still coursing through its veins. Detritus controlled both of his hearts to beat at the bear minimum just to keep him alive.

He would find this Jedi, however. Forever marked as prey.

And the cyborg wretch as well.

Whatever this beast was, Cyril would remember it. It was an abomination within the force, a creature not born of nature, but of science. Bred in a vat and made to be force sensitive solely for the purpose of slaughter. Whoever this Sylvanan person was, the errant Jedi Knight would surely have a word or two with him.

Without a second thought, he gave the mass of flesh and durasteel a shove with the force. It was enough to send what he thought to be a corpse tumbling down into the Collocoid hive, where the sentient bugs would decide what to do with it. It was not unheard of for them to eat other sentient beings if they were presented as a food source. Such a demise might right some of the wrongs the assassin committed in life, providing sustenance for strangers in payment for taking a life.

It wasn't adequate, but it was the only option besides leaving the body out here to rot.

"We should go." He murmured quietly to [member="Urya Uvatera"].

Urya watched him kick the corpse down the hill, and nodded. " Good." She unsnapped her rifle from her shoulder, quickly folding it back into a leg and reattaching it over the pegleg. " ...Chickery Chick." She offered [member="Cyril Grayson"] her cybernetic arm for balance. "You're standing on your leg funny."
