Funny Braze is Griffith - An Inconvenient Truth

Berserk Spoilers!!!

After spending considerable time and energy I have come to the conclusion that our very own beloved echani brat, Braze, is the Chaos's sfw equivalent to Griffith.

As much as I don't want to admit it, I can not ignore the facts and feel that it is my responsibility to share my findings with the community at large. So that others may be aware and understand what a menace the character really is.

Firstly and most obvious is the physical similarities. Braze and Griffith are some pasty white effeminate pretty boys.

Now the physical similarities aren't all the important considering how many other characters on this site share a similar visual aesthetic. (Side Note: They're both skilled and proficient dex build fencers as well)

Secondly and most importantly are the shocking narrative similarities between Braze's and Griffith's respective stories. Chief among them being the critical moments of betrayal against their allies. During the Galactic Empire's invasion of Coruscant Braze had betrayed the Jedi and GA. While that alone didn't single handedly lead to the deaths of all of his allies like with Griffith's own demonic eclipse betrayal.

However, most damning of Braze's betrayal was that it resulted in having their hunky boyfriend's (Ko) arm severed, much akin to how Guts lost his own arm.

Another fascinating detail is that after Braze's betrayed his friends and allies he buggered off the the unknown regions to built up a new home and community for himself and friends. His own little paradise away from the rest of the galaxy. Very similar to how after throwing the Band of the Hawk under the bus Griffith constructed Falconia. Utopia's build off the blood of their friends.

Thirdly, just has Griffith has his own sycophants who believe whole-heartedly that he did nothing wrong. So does Braze with character's like Jasper and Loomi who view Braze as an innocent victim of circumstance. Delusional and refusing to accept the idea that just because someone is pretty doesn't mean that they can't be evil.
