Strengths
Species Traits – Braxus being born an Anzati has given him a number of traits, he has exceptional strength and agility making him the peak of human athletic ability, and he excels at combat. Braxus had highly developed sensory organs to be able to sense the life essences with others which often allows him to tell if someone is around him. Braxus also was born with an extremely powerful natural mind control akin to the force mind trick which allows him to trick people, sometimes control them and play with their minds, which is very hard to resist. He Is also impossible to sense through the force.
-Intelligence – Braxus firmly believes that knowledge is the key to true power in the universe and being able to live for an extremely long time, he has virtually all the time in the world to seek as much knowledge as he needs. He has also learned over the years tactics and strategy which he has excelled at.
Personality – Braxus is a very charming and charismatic individual, deception, diplomacy, and manipulation are in his blood as a natural born hunter. There are little people he trusts, but the fake sense of trustfulness he radiates allows him to be trusted by many.
Quick Learner – Braxus is a very quick learner when it comes to new subjects which he understands more than others.
Tactician - Braxus is somewhat of a tactician, learning much from his previous Master.
Weaknesses
Obsession – An Obsession for knowledge, and the ‘soup’ can cause him to do dangerous things in pursuits of them.
Arrogance – Braxus believes himself superior to all other beings as an Anzati, that his power is more than enough to end his victims. This can be easily exploited.
Trust Issues – Braxus trusts no one especially as an Anzati, and his exposure to the criminal underworld. It is quite possible for this to be exposed.
The Soup – Braxus has a craving for the life essence of others, and will often drain his pray of their life essence. This can be exploited by the right people.
SHIP: As the personal apprentice of Lord Kaine Zambrano, Braxus typically travels with his master and uses what his master sets up for him.
BIOGRAPHY:
Braxus was born as a force sensitive child in an Anzati family who actually believed in the force and its ideals, a rarity amongst his people who majorly believed that they were above the force. So Braxus in his infancy was sent to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for training. As a youngling of the Jedi Order he was closely watched over by the jedi for fear that he may give into the soup tradition of his brethren.
Braxus proved them wrong, and even surprised them by being a fast learner who was able to learn the lessons they taught much faster than his other peers, he was a prized student who when he came of age, advanced to padawan earlier under the leadership of a Jedi MasterJarek Kar. Jarek Kar was an easy trusting Jedi Master who since the loss of his apprentice before Braxus, had treated him like his own son. So the two spent much time together studying and training, the young padawan still resisted the lure of the soup until one fateful day.
Braxus was placed on an investigation with another human named Victor, a Padawan under Jedi Master Kron to hunt a criminal that caused the disturbance of a masters padawan, Braxus confronted the woman in a cantina on the surface of Coruscant, and a chase ensued between the three.
The females athleticism was amazing, as was Braxus’s, so the two were able to keep up with each other as they raced through the streets of Coruscant dodging through buildings and ducking through alleys, the chase lasted for around an hour before he was able to corner her at a dead end she ran into. Just before he was able to take her in, the woman revealed her Anzati nature to him, and had suspected Braxus was one as well, because there were few humans who could keep up with an Anzati in peak physical shape.
Begrudgingly he too revealed his Anzati nature to her and proclaimed he wasn’t a drinker of the ‘soup’ like she was, a comment at which the woman laughed at. She revealed the power that the life essence brought, the thrill of the chase when you hunted your pray, and the sense of satisfaction when you sucked it from their terrified body. The beliefs she brought upon him mesmerized him, they revealed to him things about it that he had not learned during his time among the Jedi Order, he was tempted and he needed to try it. Braxus and the female hid in the shadows while the young padawan Victor approached. Then when he had his back turned he jumped on Victor and forced the human down. He pinned him and then used the tentacles that hid inside of sacks in his cheeks to drain every last drop of life essence from him, Braxus was caught in the moment of the draining which filled him with emotion, he swelled with its power and oddly as every bit of life left Victors body, it filled him with satisfaction.
The life essence had increased his power, it was a decent amount but he needed more. So he turned on the female Anzati that he was hunting in the first place, he had used his skill in the force to fight her and pin her down under nearby debris. Braxus then drained her of her own life essence after feeling of its power. The changes in their bodies after they were drained may have been apparent so he needed to get it hidden fast. Luckily for him, the police force on Coruscant had followed them after a disturbance and arrived quickly. The officer in charge Sergeant Arlington demanded an explanation, and he was met by the Anzati’s mind control abilities. He had used it to make the Sergeant believe that it was official jedi business, and had him dispose of the female Anzati’s body.
After the encounter and his first taste of life essence, Braxus brought the padawans body back to the Jedi Temple and stood in front of his Master and Master Kron and informed them of her status as an Anzati, he expertly lied to them and told them that Victor had gotten to her first because he was delayed, and by the time he reached her it was too late. The two concerned masters trusted his word, and it made Master Kron feel better to know that his padawan’s killer had made a swift end. For the next few days however, he couldn’t stop thinking about the essence he had absorbed from the two of them. An addiction grew for the essence the moment he drank it, and he couldn’t contain it any longer, he needed more this was the catalyst to his fall to the dark side.
A distraught Braxus spent nearly all his time in Coruscant hunting for essence when he was able, he first started by hunting beings outside of the Jedi Order, especially those whose essences were strong. This grew to be not enough as there weren’t many powerful essences outside of the Jedi Order. There were however, amongst his fellow padawans. He began to hunt Jedi Padawans, he would follow them as they left the Jedi Temple for whatever they needed to do, and he would hunt them and drain their bodies of their life essence, and then he would hide their bodies. The power that he was exposed to led him to look down the path of the Dark Side, which was deeply rooted in the ideals of power and strength, he did some small research through what the Jedi Archives had in terms of history but that was it. The subtle way in which he had operated made him believe that the Jedi would never suspect, he was wrong as the padawans began disappearing and the Jedi High Council officially took a role in the investigation. Little and behold, they had found the stockpile of dead bodies hidden on Coruscant, and were able to connect the dots right back to Braxus.
With the Jedi Order closing in Braxus fled the Jedi Temple and deep into the darkest, dirtiest areas of Coruscant where he used his mind control powers to manipulate a pilot into taking him off world to an automated mining facility on Mustafar to lay low while he was hunted by the Jedi. After several days, the Jedi had finally tracked him to Mustafar and arrived at the facility he was hiding at. Little did he know that Jedi Master Kar had been the one they sent to bring him to justice. The Jedi Master expressed his sadness at the betrayal of his padawan, and how he treated him like his own son. Braxus didn’t listen to a word the Jedi Master said, and engaged him in lightsaber combat in the Mining Facilities control room. The fight lasted a while with the Jedi Master not trying to kill his former padawan, the resulting carnage destroyed the control room and even caused them to spill out on a nearby bridge. The chaos they wreaked however resulted in a rise in the lava levels, and a meltdown of the facility.
Smoke stacks under them exploded in black exhaust smoke, blanketing the area in it and even concealing the lava river that was right below them. Braxus held his own but he was not skilled enough to beat his own master. After he was force pushed away from a saber lock, Braxus stumbled and fell right off the bridge and into the black plumes of smoke. Jedi Master Kar knew that his apprentice gave off no sense through the force, but after an overhead search from his fighter, the search revealed nothing which caused him to assume that his apprentice finally met his end in the lava river. By luck, Braxus had landed on a passing platform being moved by a droid that carried him down the overflowing lava river to another facility which it took him inside of. The facility was ran as part of a pirate smuggling operation being held there out of a small freighter and a pirate crew of a dozen, childs play for him. Braxus stealthily hid among the facility and silently killed off each member of the pirate crew except for the pilot. He kept the pilot alive and used his mind control abilities to manipulate him into taking him off world and to Tatooine, a hub of criminal activity.
For several years, Braxus had hunted through the Criminal Underworld, working for several employers and drained the essences of countless people while he continued to research into the Sith Order. His training as a jedi had garnered his attention from a Sith Knight named Ulath Garn, a Muun who had a powerful personal life essence and a close connection with the universe's through the Force, which almost immediately came up on Braxus's senses.

The Muun confronted him on Tatooine and explained to Braxus who he was, a Sith. The Muun wished to take him as a student, but the mans life essence and connection to the force was just too hard to pass up, so Braxus developed a plan. He pledged his service to the Muun Knight, and began to serve under him as an apprentice. They spent several months together, lecturing him and even teaching him the power of force choke, this close relationship did not go far however. As on the same day where he was given his first crimson crystal, Braxus visciously attacked his mind at a very close range, and the closer he was to the victim, the stronger his control was. After fighting with the strong willed Sith Knight, Braxus was able to bring the man down to his knees and force him to submit, he then proceeded to feed on him, he bled the Muun Sith Knight dry, gaining exponential power from devouring his essences, and improving his mind control, and drastically increasing his connection to the force.
It was then that he met Kaine Zambrano, a Dark Councilor who had taken an interest in the Anzati, the two exclaimed that they were like Wolves amongst Sheep, and he offered to truly teach him the ways of the Sith, but he had to prove his worth. The two engaged in a devastating fight of epic proportions with the Sith Lord testing his abilities. The epicanthix’s immunity to mental abilities shocked Braxus when he tried to lure him in, but his ferocity and his skill in combat was enough to impress the Sith Lord, who had decided to take him under his wing, he was not considered a true protégé until now however when the Sith Lord truly took an interest in him.
