This is allowing Dave's family a minor minute of joy. That the attacks are not going to end up hurting any of their friends.

To my opponents on both this character and Tmoxin, I'm going to assume since Oddball escaped that this particular thread is over.

Is that correct?

Actually I'm not sure. I think there's another RA thread on Coruscant which is taking place after the prison break?

But yes, if we could hear from RA leadership on whether the thread can be closed, I suppose that would be helpful.

It looks like it's starting to wind down, but not done yet. There's still a bunch of fights left to finish, some dirty rebels preparing to bomb some buildings, and oddball actually escaping.

Coruscant's Metal Underground Radio demands blood of the Rebels for the death of one of our own.

This message goes out to the fine men and women fighting the good fight

[member="Isamu Baelor"] [member="Setzi Lunelle"] @everyone

I'll be posting today in regards to Oddball's escape! So sorry for the hold-up - had a 10 hour CPR/AED skill session for my summer class yesterday, totally took it out of me!

I'll have a post up soon!

Radio and Tele-a-thons across Coruscant are raising money to ensure Dave's and other families are protected for when this happens again.

The Office of the Dark Lord ensures its citizens that the curfew is to protect you as much as it is to allow the fearless men and women defending the Capital. Stay safe. Live Long. Praise the Dark Lord

For our dear departed Dave, we will unleash such terrible vengeance, that generations of rebels yet unborn will cry out in anguish.
Typical One Sith thinking. "Let's use one man's death as an excuse to wreak extreme chaos and vengeance on many people!" Rebels aren't born, they're made. Your plan to wreak havoc on "unborn" rebels will only become a self-fulfilling prophecy for more rebels to join up.

I would like to point out that it wasn't a Rebel PC who RPed disastrous results from their attack but a One Sith member who god modded the results to fit their plans. Collateral damage is up to chance and circumstance, both of which were fixed by Corey and the restaurant that was neither at a safe distance nor inside the much sturdier and secure compound like you'd find in the real life Pentagon, but right next to a military target. However, common sense says that, "If you raise a planetary shield, without warning, around a planet who's economy, imports, exports, and trillions of people who, as a whole, never sleep", then you need to expect millions of casualties at the very least.

I shared the political model of the One Sith, using quotes directly from One Sith members, with an elder co-worker of mine who had managed a restaurant for 15 years and is very active in reading the news. She said that the model is pure anarchy.

May I kindly request that we keep accusations of "god-moding" out of this thread? My opponent was the one who dodged my attack from a guided torpedo. I was within my rights to have my attack land somewhere else.

I received no PM from my opponent that she had any type of concern with my post, which is how these things are normally handled. If she did or does, I hope that she will PM me so we can work through it together.

If your issue of god modding with another player is between you and that player, then I ask that you keep it there. My issue with what I perceive to be god moddimg, however, impacts the political painting of two factions. The mix of treating people like cattle, yet claiming you're the good guys is fraying my nerves. NPC flavoring is cool, but this bandwagon for Dave is filled with inconsistencies.

Thank you. I hope that I get to see proof of that in the future.

You uh.. You don't seem to know a lot about real world politics for someone who's trying to pull them into an online game about wizards in space..

Seen a lot of 'evil' governments go about yelling 'WE'RE THE BAD GUYS' have you?

Propaganda son..

Edit: Ryan what! How is this another of your characters! You are smarter than this. Obvs the Sith are bad guys, they're Sith, and just as obvs they're not gonna say it when they're trying to keep their own worlds under control and have their resources free for further expansion.
