APPEARANCE:
The Chiss doctor is of average height for a female of her species and is in fit condition. She has silky midnight blue hair that glistens in certain light. The long tresses are usually pulled back into a simple up-do. Glowing red orbs offset her *light blue-hued dewy complexion, which is soft to touch with very fine hair hardly visible. Ari isn't stunningly beautiful, well in her eyes, but she has a certain warmth and quiet strength that radiates from within that shows her quality; loyal and true in all regards the doctor is. She carries herself with grace and has a simple elegance about her even when in the trenches knee deep in wounded.

*Sposians tend to have a lighter skin color of blue due to the higher oxygen content of their homeworld's atmosphere.

BIOGRAPHY:

"Ari" was born on Sposia, which was governed by House Sabosen. They were the Chiss Ruling Family at the time in charge of seeing to the law and justice, education, and health of the Chiss Ascendancy, Brask'ari'sabosen's dream and passion could and would naturally come true with hard work and dedication. She attended the Academy of Arts and Sciences located in Sposia's capital city of Ch'avz, receiving an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering. She then went on to medical school, graduating top in her class. The new physician was accepted into the highly competitive residency program at Rizin'ci Medical Center where she trained in trauma surgery, then did a fellowship there as well under a renowned cyberneticist - one of the modern era pioneers in the field. There was a high need for technically advanced replacement limbs and organs as well as the continuing evolution of such. This became her sub-specialty.

The Chiss doctor served with distinction in the CEDF as a medical officer for two tours of duty during the latter years of the Cold War with the Vaagari, then was posted at the military hospital in Csaplar on Csilla. During the reign of the Iron Empire over Chiss Space though, House Sabosen was demoted as a major ruling family because of their resistance to the Ascendancy becoming a vassal state of IE. Thus, the House was given a minority roll on Sposia as well as a lesser voice on the Council of Families. A fall from Grace indeed, or perhaps a blessing in disguise. Time would only tell.

Karisa decided with a heavy heart to leave Chiss space altogether and ventured outside the Ascendency for the first time. The trauma doctor joined the First Order and served in their FIMS for a tenure as a battle surgeon where the Chiss saw active duty on the front lines during the FO/GA Border War. She was referred to as Dr. K by her non-Chiss colleagues.

After nearly dying at the Battle of Anoth, Karisa yearned to return home and to the people she called family. With the fall of the Iron Empire and the rise of the Jen'ari Empire in its place soon after, the Ascendancy was left at it's weakest point. Whispers of a civil war brewing against those Chiss aligned with the Jen'ari Sith reached her ears across the other side of the Unknown Regions... Perhaps now was the time to return and help take back the homeland from tyrannical Outsiders once and for all.

HOUSE SABOSEN:
House Sabosen (Chaos lore) is one of the Ruling Families of the Chiss Ascendancy. The Sabosen family's homeworld in Chiss Space is Sposia. The capital of Sposia is Ch'avz, which means water in Galactic Basic. This Noble House has predominately in the past been in charge of the Ascendancy's law and justice, education and health. The Sabosen family colors are rust red. The weather on Sposia is more temperate than on Csilla with four distinct seasons. It has a slightly higher oxygen content giving Sposians a lighter bluish tint, but only by a small degree. Sabosenians in general have been known to be conservative, adhering to the more traditional Chiss societal values and policies standing strong for the ideals of the Red Flame.

Syndic Mitth'oru'sabosen "Thorus"; alive - presently is the Ruling House Syndic and commands the Sabosen family Household Phalanx (formerly Chief Justiciar of the Judicial Circuit before House Qell took over the law and justice, education, and health of the Ascendancy). He is a robust man in his 40's. Mitth'oru'sabosen is rumored to be the heir apparent to the current Aristocra of House Sabosen, Sev'ero'sabosen.
This is a NPC used for Karisa's storyline purposes.

The House Syndic's family home is located just outside Ch'avz proper. The estate resides on the western cliffs overlooking the Great Sea of Sposia.
The Ambassador keeps an apartment for diplomatic purposes in Csaplar on Csilla where the seat of Chiss government is located. One gets a nice view of the cityscape and the House Palace from the high-rise apartment's many windows.
