"Watch the fight."

The blows echoed throughout the pit, two Mandalorian fighters, bare knuckled and without armor, went at each other mercilessly. Tracyn was judging their moves, watching how they moved. He watched how they're bodies reacted to the hits, the training they received showing. He watched as they turned their faces with the punches, and responded. Eventually, the darker skinned of the two wrapped his arm around the lighter man's leg, and forced him downward. Tracyn cocked his head. Ground fighting.

What a skill, what an art.

Tracyn peeked over to [member="Uri Aureleos"], whom he had brought along. The boy had expressed interest in learning how to fight. Not fight, but win.

"Watch closely."

The man being pinned, relentlessly pounded at the man, to no avail. He was larger and full of more muscle, but it helped him little in the next few seconds. The darker skinned man wrapped his leg around his chest, and shot his other across his face. A perfect armbar.

"You tell me what I brought you here for."

He spoke over the roaring crowd, some angry and some demanding more bloodshed. Tracyn hoped that the boy would see the point in the exercise, but he understood if he did not.

Uri turned his head and shut his eyes as the men pounded at each other burying their first into the body of the other. He looked back only after he was commanded to keep watching. Uri didn't care for how they beat at each other with their fists. He was a pacifist after all. Such violence was not the way he was taught, but still he watched them and studied their movement, looked at how they countered or took hits and then thought of how he would take them himself. When one brought the other to the ground Uri tilted his head then glanced up at [member="Tracyn"] "Watch closely." Uri quickly went back to watching after he spoke.

This is something Uri had never experience before. How does one defend if he is pinned to the ground? The way he was taught was to never allow himself to get pinned. Uri imagined gripping and pinching his thigh would be best. Make him pull away just enough to get his weight off so that Uri could flee or may be when he has size on his side such could be used to force a flip and get the upper hand. He wasn't sure what the upper hand would be until he saw the man on top straddle the other man's arm and pulled at it as his captive beat the ground with his free hand. His arm wasn't suppose to bend like that, and Uri could tell that little pressure added to it was all that was needed.

It reminded him of a move Uri was taught should some one grab his upper arm or shoulder. Wrap his arm around his assailant's and lifting his elbow was all that was needed to turn the tide. The victor was obvious, and Uri smiled slightly at the passive victory. He was happy to see the victory didn't come from walking away from bloody limp body. His thoughts were interrupted by Tracyn, "You tell me what I brought you here for."

Uri looked up and thought for a moment, he was pretty sure he knew why. He looked down at his hands. "To show me what really decides victory..." He glanced back up at Tracyn and then pointed to his temple. His mind. "Here."

"In a way, yes, you are correct."

He leaned forward, as the officials began to break up the fight and the next contenders began to step forward onto the platform. His gray eyes danced over the various Mandalorian and Ordo citizens cheering for more violence. Reminded him of the gladiatorial pits on Utapu.

"You want to learn Steel Hands. Teras Kasi. It is an artform that many have tried and abandoned due to it's difficulty-"

He turned to face [member="Uri Aureleos"].

"Why do you seek my knowledge of it, boy?"

Uri thought for a second then looked up at Tracyn, "My master told me you are a skilled warrior. It is not my wish to be a warrior, but should I be left without a lightsaber or without the force, I would need a way to defend myself."
