Boxing Day

Tricia Kalamack

Sleeps all day.... yawns all night
This was an interesting thing to see and Tricia sat there looking down, she had asked to challenge this boy... well he was a man she supposed by his species standards. She wasn't quite sure after a thousand years most species have had several generations. She had remained and sitting in the air with her ankle length hair framing her she allowed the seven sabers on her hips to gleam.

She had replaced them and they were lighter, sharper with crystals, multi colored with the best part while she let her tanned skin look like milky chocolate, tri-colored silver eyes opened while she brushed aside some of the silver strands of her hair. A small look while her feet touched the ground delicately with lightness in her step and her hand went to the gown she was wearing.

Thin silk with songsteel chains that were tightening it around her waist, around her ankles and wrists. The smile on her face curling at first before revealing itself and she spoke allowing the force to radiate off her body as she leaned back in her position onto force energy making it into a cushion. "So is this really the way to go about it? Ah no matter Vulpesen (@Darth Tsolon)."

She remained there letting the force energy wrap around her body in a shimmering protection bubble of telekinetic energy that distorted the air around her, her eyes shimmering with force light while the sabers fell to the floor for the time being. "Whenever you are ready to begin, I am fine with sabers, force or both."

Vulpesen entered the room, flicking his tail behind him as he met Tricia. "Salutations." He gave a small bow to the master and called the saber into his hand. "I think I might need every resource if I'm to truly stand a chance." He activated the blade and saluted er before preforming a makashi flourish. Of course, they'd met Alexandra had been under her charge. Now, Vulpesen was here to accept her challenge, one he believe he might even lose. As she offered him the first move, he found himself rather unknowing as to what to do, having always been the one to give the first advance to the other. After a deep breath, he charged forward, his blade kept in a neutral stance to defend from her attacks.

Tricia looked at him holding the blade as her eyes flicked and there were several snap hisses, the multi colored blades activating on the ground as she sat there letting her energies flow like a tidal wave of power. The makashi was something she understood and it had some major weaknesses... usually it needed someone to go against and she brought a blade up to defend as another struck to try and make contact with his knee, the formless the telekinetic blades went up to surround and make a circle of blades. She was hovering higher in the air now a little while her eyes were closed.

Vulpesen's eyes widened as the blades started to move around independently. "Kark..." His blade clashed with the first and he narrowly missed the second with a powerful jump. Hopefully gaining the altitude to be well over Tricia's head, he fired off a powerful and concentrated force push at her head, the equivalent of the end of a wooden stave would slam into her skull if the strike went well.

Tricia moved with his push, her body twisting and turning as she spiraled around the room and stopped herself in the air turning her gaze towards him. A smile playing on her lips while she had the sabers on the ground level floating. Vulps had jumped not flown towards her while she was still hovering in the air letting her hand come out with a distortion showing. The ball gathering energy and becoming more visible before she threw it towards him with the sabers becoming a pyramid almost to slash and spin for him jump height. She was moving up higher into the air and staying clear while the kinetic ball of energy made for smashing bases came from above with the saber from the side.

"Hell..." The push and blades coming towards him were certainly unnerving, but he'd dodged worse. A thought suddenly appeared to him and he could't help but smile. If she really wanted to hit him, he'd have to account for falling. That's what made such an attack like this so effective. The victim had no choice but to fall into it... unless he was an experience force using faller.

He called the force to his body and focused on his decent. Almost instantly, he became weightless falling at only a fraction of the earlier rate. His own saber swiped under him and batted away the top of the three, leaving only the push which sent him into a somersault as it hit his legs. Going with the flips, he simply accounted for it until he hit the ground, smiling up at his elder opponent. She had the experience, but he still had a few tricks. Again he dashed forward, mindful of the three blades around him as he rose his hand to shoot a blast of golden lightning at her.

Tricia stayed where she was, she had the advantage of height in the air and most attacks that could reach her provided plenty of prep time to counter. That was the case here but mostly because she was thinking about what Vulpesen knew that could match her powers and she could try throwing knives at her.. something she could snatch out of the air as he didn't really match a 3km ship flying at a planet for speed or a shipyard... she could guess to the lightning which was a good stable ability and making it a bolt instead of arc meant it wouldn't be tickling her. She raised a protective shield as it splashed against it making spiderwebs of golden energy while the two forces met with Tricia still focusing on everything around her including her sabers that went towards the master with several slashes aimed for his joints.

Another growl left Vulpesen's lips as the blades came back. Again and again. He was getting into a rhythm for dodging this attack, but given too much time, it would start to overwhelm him. He reached into his robes and produced another saber, igniting its gold and black blade. Too many threats. Three blades on two. His eyes would then have to track five pieces of light. He'd faced worse odds many times... but that didn't mean these were good ones.

Granted the action halted his lightning assault but now he focused on something else. He brought each weapon to a couple of Trcia's blades, letting them slide against the surface as momentum carried them. That would defend two joints. As for the third, his body twisted in the air to avoid it as best he could. He could feel his body's protest but continued on. A makashi user was known as a master of blade manipulation and it was time he show that ability. Tisting and turning his wrists, he directed his enemy's capture weapons at the hilt of the third, aiming to disable it as a thread.

Tricia moved the blades, with her concentration remaining on Vulps now it was a matter of out foxing a makashi user... Granted she had the advantage of the blades not being limited by the moements of the body but there was only so much you could do with that. Yu still had to know how to work them while he had his sabers activated. She brought the rest down to circle and make it somewhat of a guessing game. A circle of multi colored blades hovering and moving as him quickly using the lack of limbs and restrictions on movement disappear. She slashed from above and below to try and contact burn his shoulder and knees, from the sides to distract his blades and force him to jump again into the blade coming down.

"Hell!" His body twisted even more, slashing the blades away from under him as he dropped to the ground, keeping sure to defend against those at his sides once the bottom was clear. He did manage to go fairly untouched, though such a thing came at a price. The movements required for such defense had caused him to flip in the air and land, slamming his shoulder into the ground with a loud growl. He'd be alright and the arm was usable but he'd have a bruise and he needed to find a way to get back up. Rolling to his back, he weaved his sabers through the air, aiming to catch multiples of Tricia's sabers with as few swings as possible. The economy of the second style would come in handy by allowing him to fight off each weapon without doing one at a time. "How many of these things are there!?"
