Bounty Hunting (Lothal)

There was a lot of places in the galaxy he could go, but heading closer to home wasn't usually the best idea. Kahlil stepped from the ramp of his ship to glance around the tall grass of Lothal. It certainly wasn't Bastion, but there was a sense of calm. It surprised him, how peaceful it was. This was an Empire planet after all.

"Be ready to fly, just in case." The young man glanced up the ramp to his droid, flashing a smile. "We should be fine though, this far out on the Empires borders." R6 responded with a couple of small, worried beeps, but Kahlil just shook his head and turned to walk into the grasslands. "She might be here, or at least a way to find her. I can't ignore the possibility without at least checking. Just keep your eyes on the scanner and com me if something happens."

The combat freighter she called her the Solstice landed nearby. The ramp to the ship was open letting in the Lothal breeze. Tranquility. This was just the calm before the storm. She came down the ramp helmet on and holding her Westar-35 Blaster Carbine. She had two Westar-35 blaster pistol holstered to her thigh just below her utility belt. Her head turned toward some rock formations before she started walking over to it. Her prey was here on Lothal ripe for the taking. "He's close..", she said to herself as she neared his position raising her carbine slightly. She had the arsenal capable of killing a jedi and she was willing to use it on her prey.

It was hard to tell threats this close to the Sith. The Darkside clouded much. Kahlil was constantly trying to be aware of his surroundings at least, but he had an objective in mind. Past those same rock formations [member="Darsch Vizla"] had made her way towards. For the moment, he was completely unaware of the Mandalorian hunter. But there was something brewing. He paused just shy of them, one hand slowly gripping the hilt of his lightsaber on his hip.

There was danger.

The Mando picked up the movement from the Jedi. She looked toward the direction of Kahil and saw the silver haired Jedi. Her prey was close. She needed to act now and catch him by surprise. That'll be easy with all the Sith influence around. The grass covered her a bit as she crouched and aimed at Kahil. The barrel of her carbine stuck out from the yellowish grass. The sights were trained on the Jedi. "There you are.." The hunter says as she holds her breath and goes for a shot to his side. She was trying to make him feel as much pain as possible. She hated all force users.

He didn't notice the shot until it was too late. A pain burned through his side as he tried to twist out of the way of the incoming blaster fire, earning a hiss from the Jedi. All of his senses erupted with that sense of danger, his lightsaber flying to his hand and springing to life. He went right to the defensive, reaching out with the force to try and sense the danger. He didn't know where the shot came from, not yet.

The Mando was smart and quickly switched positions closer to some rocks. That sealed the deal. He was one of the force-users she constantly hunts for. Raising her blaster carbine, Darsch fired three shots at him. One was aimed at his legs and the other two were sent right at his torso. She moved once again to another rock formation. She readies herself for his counter attack.
