You don't join Black Sun. You earn it.

The galaxy is full of desperate scum with a blaster and a chip on their shoulder, calling themselves bounty hunters. But few are selected. Fewer survive. And only the most lethal are sponsored. By taking our mark, you are entering a pact - not just with the syndicate, but with its history of blood, betrayal, and absolute power. Our sponsorship grants you access to exclusive contracts, underworld resources, and priority payouts through our Nar Shaddaa clearinghouse.

But make no mistake: this isn't a gift. It's an investment.​

You will be expected to act in accordance with our interests. You will be watched. And if you bring heat on our operations, fail to deliver, or sell us out for a better payday, you'll be hunted like dogs in the warrens. Our sponsored hunters wear the sigil proudly. Some bear the Sun as tattoos beneath armor or livery painted on ship hulls. It's a symbol that opens doors, closes coffins, and binds your bones to the syndicate.

Bounty hunter sponsorship is a system taken very seriously by faction staff. In addition to the criteria set by Chaos staff, Black Sun has its own vetting process to ensure that only serious, credible, and reliable agents are given the syndicate's blessing. Each hunter seeking Black Sun's sponsorship must apply using the form at the bottom of this thread, and will be vetted by faction staff using the following criteria:

• You must uphold the Bounty Hunter Code of Conduct;
• You must be an active member of the faction;
• Staff should be confident that you will not incite/escalate OOC issues;
• You understand that you must gain BOTH OOC and IC approval.

If you are approved OOC, you will move onto IC approval. Yes, you will be required to negotiate with a Black Sun Vigo to earn your sponsorship in a (short) RP thread/objective. Please note that OOC approval DOES NOT automatically equate IC success - if you fail to impress your Vigo, you will be denied sponsorship.

The Underworld is a tough place.​

When you have been approved OOC and complete a successful IC RP thread/objective, all that remains is paying Black Sun's "processing fee" of 25,000 UCs. This fee goes directly to the syndicate's coffers, held by the First Bank of Nar Shaddaa on behalf of Black Sun.
