Checking in with all registered bounty hunters, some quick questions:

In the days since getting your official STAR WARS CHAOS BOUNTY HUNTER LICENSE...

Who's using the new rules already? Who's RPing bounty hunting in other ways (e.g. Public or Private threads)? Anyone done factory subs for this? Talking with other RPers about hunting their characters? Taken a look at characters with bounties on them to see what threads they're in? Anyone looking at collab/team hunts? Long-term plans to go after big bounties?

I've got some things in the works for the upcoming invasions regarding the bounties and I jumped into a thread to pursue one, though the writer has since gone on LOA. The new system (and the Kaggath) inspired me to redo Koda's armour sub to get a more up to date set of gear codified, and I'm of the mind to sub some weapons as well later on. Teaming up in the Coruscant invasion to go after the archive bounty, though otherwise just have some vague talks about collaborating with some other hunters to do a joint mission at some point with nothing yet defined.

On LOA now but I've touched a little bit of each part of the system, posted a few bounties, collected and paid out some quick one-off, haven't yet done a public ambush, but there will be time for that.

I like the idea of putting up a bounty that encourages others to make or find a codex/factory sub as a reward like a tech/location bounty along the lines of "procure a tool that can do X" or "Track down a source of X" as a way to outsource inspiration for ideas.

Though the Hyperlane chase never bore fruit, putting out a bounty for connecting hyperlanes for an escape route was surprisingly immersive, more than I expected.

Favorite aspect is putting up bounties to reinforce overarching narrative throughlines. Group hunting parties sound like fun, but probably won't be something I'll pursue while I'm still BSS's most wanted

I'm more of a story driven what makes sense for my bounty hunter to do — for example Drifter is actually Micah Talith , moving undercover while trying to find his lost sister Kaili Talith .

Bounties regarding creatures, force tracking or doing jobs that don’t get him internally having his conscious that sounds a bit too much like his mother or his droid companion Alex, nag at him about doing the right thing, fit him.

I’m planning on doing that meat creature bounty for him shortly cause that totally fit him.

Skye Mertaal … well she’s a force suppression pill popping witchMaster bounty hunter trying to live day by day so bounties depend on which ones she can claim to make credits to make sure she’s feeding her pill popping force suppression hobby to keep the demons at bay.

All that to say, more story driven bounty hunting so I review the bounties to see what would be fun to explore.

Still have yet to take on any actual bounties but this lil' fella is just a way for me to RNG my way through either the stupidest or nuttiest situations ever while giving people a chance to evade me based on pure luck. Have yet to test it and see how it goes but hopefully something I'll find enjoyable in the long run.

Whoa whoa - I’m a bounty hunter, but I didn’t know people expected me to be good at it.

Talin’s working on a mark that doesn’t have a bounty in the new system (storyline started before implementation), but will probably be dissuaded away from turning him in. Enemy of my enemy. Hoping then to cause some trouble in the upcoming invasions. Got my EYE on you, folks. Also hoping the light sided majors begin taking advantage and posting bounties for the baddies so I see some targets Talin is more likely to go after.

Yeah this has definitely been conspicuous by its absence, where are the warrants for all the sith and criminals and so forth, that needs to happen with a quickness.

I reached out and asked for Koda's old GA bounty to be updated into the new system. If you want one after you, definitely reach out. Though I still encourage the light-side factions to toss out bounties and warrants to cater to the more 'good' bounty hunters.

WELL

• Lachadann got into a High Republic Dominion, got to their Force-cloaked temple, got some surveillance photos to plan for one of the 100k bounties, got out alive.
• Lachadann also found herself sitting beside someone with a bounty but the situation went boom and she decided she was out of her depth.
• I'm having Velok and his fortune-telling knucklebones take a swing at Mauve for Tef's 1M/5M bounty because the fact that nobody's taken a serious swing at that one is a national tragedy.

I've been actively on the hunt for lower-ranking Sith, trying to get my hands on a Sith artifact as payment. As for those seeking light-side oriented bounties... I can't say much yet, but there might be opportunities in the future!
