Manufacturer: [member="Boo Chiyo"]

Model: N/A

Affiliation: [member="Boo Chiyo"]

Modularity: No

Production: Unique

Material: Alchemized alumabronze, electrum, denuded shard of tarentatek bone

Strengths:
Translation Talisman. Allows the wearer to read and comprehend the Sith language as it was recorded during the Golden Age of the Sith.

Weaknesses:
Here There Be Monsters. Dark Side presence creates an aura of unease that may affect nearby Lightsiders and makes abilities which mask one's presence in the Force more difficult to utilize when the talisman is in use, or even just present in a room.
Requires the Dark Side of the Force. Does not work on planets or in areas where access to the Dark Side of the Force may be blocked, such as through the use of ysalmiri, Force Light, Solari crystals, etc.
No Memory Retention. The wearer doesn't retain any knowledge of the Sith language after removing the ring. They must be wearing the ring in order to read the Sith language (unless they have a level of fluency in the language otherwise, which defeats the purpose of wearing the ring...)

Description: A simple ring cast of alumabronze and detailed with an electrum gilding, the real magick behind this talisman is in the polished piece of bone that sits prominently in the ring. A power foci, the magicks woven into the talisman allow the wearer to read the dead language of Golden Age of the Sith as though it were their own. The ring had a palpable presence within the Force, and required the Force in order to operate. Additionally, the wearer did not retain any information with regard to the Sith language and its mechanics after removing the ring. Only while wearing the talisman were they able to read the Sith language.
