Private Bonding after Battle

Udesiir studied the man who had hired them. Was he a man? It was difficult to say. He could be any number of near human or otherwise alien species known or unknown to traverse the galaxy. If so it just enhanced Udesiir's curiosity even further. The unknown of people fascinated Udesiir more than any other subject. Every time he learnt of a new species he learnt of an exciting new rabbit hole for him to explore, art, history, music, fashion, culture or perhaps even occasionally exciting new abilities unique to their species. Udesiir was as curious as a Lothal cat, yet he knew even with his limited social knowledge that it would be rude to just blurt out, what are you? Where are you from? Do you have any exciting natural abilities?

The mission had gone well. Extremely well no casualties on their side, and the individual who had hired them had proven quite capable, peaking Udesiirs curiosity even further. Right now they were in the aftermath. Aranar was seeing to provisions, Oya was drinking and telling war stories, Kane was checking his gear and Mesh'la was lighting candles in a Nubian ritual asking for peace for the lives she took. Udesiir couldn't quite understand that facet of Nubian culture. Mesh'la had accepted the lives needed to be taken yet wished blessings upon them?

It was moments like this he envied his niece Mesh'la's tact with people. She could've found a way to get the man or not man whatever the case may be, to open up with charm, sympathy and perhaps just a little bit of guile. Even Oya might have had a chance of getting something personal of the person across from him. Assuming that is they appreciated a jovial, talking, incessantly cheerful and familiar companion.

Udesiir however was stuck with pondering over the unique individuals existence from the corner of his eye, while he tried to determine the best way to approach. Perhaps he should think less tact and more tactics like Aranar. How would Aranar approach the situation, he would assess his intended target, his mission goals then proceed to plan the best course of action, and then do it.

Hmm what to do?

Beside him Kane sighed.

"Just go over and talk to him already. Here take him some fruit and this beverage ask him if he is hungry."

Udesiir blinked, but of course bonding over shared meals was a feature of many cultures throughout the galaxy. Why hadn't he thought of that? Kanes simple approach was the best one available to him.

Udesiir approached the table with a plate of fruit and a pitcher of juice.

"Pardon me would you mind if I join you?"

Aurelian sat on the chair provided for him with curious casualness, slightly leaned forward as he conversed with the man next to him, clearly knowing each other. It was a causal conversation for one, but the slight tension in the shoulders of the other was difficult to miss.

His massive figure, difficult to quantify, framed by the golden armour he wore but dwarfed by the wings of pure light, sat next to the smaller man, not small, just ordinarily sized. The man was dressed in a black armour with golden trim, a red tabard adoring it with a pulled back hood, offering a steep contrast.

The attention of the Hegemon drifted to the approaching Mandalorian, offering a deep nod in greeting right away before gesturing to the opposite site of the table, the gauntletted hand extending with an open palm in invitation. "I would be honoured, son of Mandalore." There was deliberate restraint in his every movement and word, not a hindrance, but a self-control that held a storm at bay.

His attention was immediately caught by the individual, strongly built, tall for a human, he was by any means a warrior archetype. But it was his bearing which the Nephilim found more intriguing above anything else - he seemed very calm, maybe even cautious or timid, yet not in a bad way. But Aurelian saw that it was thoughtfulness which might move this man.

The void-like eyeslits of his helmet briefly looked upon the platter and jug that the man brought and immediately offered a warm, nonverbial response, his aura and resonance ever so slightly sending a message of approval and appreciation. It still felt cold, yet no less genuine.

"May I ask the name of who I will share these fruits and juice with?" Aurelian's voice was deep, resonant with a measured cadence and while commanding in nature, offered a pleasant gentleness like a man carefully lifting an egg.
