Serenna was looking at Nova with a nod of her head. The chiss was very different, their views of the force for one thing could consider it a sickness.. but tey were also very practical. If they were going to have ones who could use the force, who could feel it. Having them be loyal servants who worked for them.. would be so much more important and a powerful tool that could be used. If it succeeded well then training and their own skill. IF the force user failed... no real problem they have soldiers and ships to handle the problems. Serenna was moving her hand to just be there and wit meditating with Nova. "There are some chiss, they helped me get out and away once... but what we have learned doesn't go away."

A sudden feeling hit Nova's gut, her connection to the force dropped, and slight tears began to form in her eyes, she hadn't thought about it,
with learning this power, she had lost something she didn't even think was important to her anymore,
"This means I can't go home..."

Serenna was looking at her and held a hand over her. Feeling it in the force but also just in this... a connection between them. "Maybe, you never know Nova. You might be able to return home and change the Ascendancy or could just be like me and help the galaxy." Serenna was moving towards the conclusion within the force, her head moved to rest on Nova's shoulder as she spoke. "It will be okay padawan, the force will guide you and look out for you. We'll go home one day I promise you."

As calming as her words were, they didn't stop the tears from flowing,
"The Chiss won't change, why would we? It's a working system with no real flaws, I doubt they'd take the risk of allowing force sensitives."
As surprising as it would be, as she was a runaway from her home world, to her knowledge Nova's parents were still alive, and all she could think about,
was the fact that they'd probably disown her now.

"You never know, always in motion is the future and the force has a way of helping those who know how to listen to it." She said it but had some tears in her own face while she was wiping at them. "It will be alright my padawan, Nova we are together.... we know what needs to be done and when the time comes.... if the time comes that we need to return to Csilla then we shall and it will be glorious." Serenna smiled though and worked to try and foc us the force between them to cheer both of them up as she was thinking about it. They were chiss... they might not be welcomed at home but they were chiss and they knew how to compose themselves.

Nova fell into Serenna, just lightly pressing her head into her chest to support her, this shouldn't be affecting her so much, this was trivial,
yet it was important.
"I'm sorry for all of this, you shouldn't have to deal with it"

"It is quite alright." Serenna said it while she held a hand out and the force swirled around it, white whisps od energy with a smile appearing on her face while her other hand stroked at the woman's hair. "We are what we are, we are who we will become soon enough. Jedi with a purpose to try and bring a sense of justice and order to the universe but without our weapons. Without harming the people. We will walk in the places few others want to tread, walk where they will need our guidance."

Serenna managed to calm Nova for the most-part, there was still a looming sadness but everything would be okay,
Serenna's touch was nice, and her aura was sill calming,
"Thank you so much, for everything"
What happened next however, was still a mystery

She was looking at her and rose up now pulling her along. "Hey now come on." Serenna stood there and held her up as she brushed to get some fo the tears away. "You are my padawan, my friend, I am here and with me we will always have a piece of home Nova. We will bring our people with us wherever we go and then we'll never be lonely no matter how far away we are in the galaxy." Serenna moved her hand along cheek and just held her close with a smile on her face.

The tears stopped forming in her eyes,
"I guess it is helpful that you're a Chiss as well, it helps me trust you."
This was a strange time for Nova, and she guessed that she just had to let it all out,
"Thank you again, I'm sorry for this, I'll try to prevent it in the future."

"It is quite alright." She said it and was holding her face with her hands while the jedi herself was reaching out with the force. To flow between them where she looked. "The future is in motion, we will just see what happens Nova." Her smile was there and she moved her hands along her neck, then her shoulders and arms pulling her forward into a hug. She placed her head in the crook of her neck, rubbing some of her hair along her shoulder and just holding her with her arms. The steady beat of her heart was there as Serenna focused the force between them.

Nova just stood there, letting herself find comfort in the embrace, she didn't really want the moment to end,
she just waited until either Serenna would eventually start to feel uncomfortable, or until she figured out what to do next.

Serenna stayed there she was just enjoying the feeling and moved her hand to the small of Nova's back. The other woman didn't seem to dislike it as she brought her head up. Nose tickling at her ear, eyes closed and voice soft barely a whisper but she let everything be within it as there was something. She hadn't felt it since Nat and then it was like thunder in her stomach. A jolt she felt when looking at her, when holding her... when she would... no no maybe no.. she was uncertain rubbing her cheek against hers. Inhaling the scent of her hair while she kissed the lobe of her ear then raised her head up just enough to look with a smile on her face."This feels.... nice."

This moment seemed to be unlike any other, Nova didn't understand what was going on but she didn't care,
this was nice, Serenna's words rang true, but eventually it had to end,
"So, as nice as this is... what next?"

"Next." She said it with a smile on her face as she pulled back watching her. "I am not certain completely but there should be something nice." She stayed there and moved just holding her padawan's hand with a nod of her head. "THis will be the start, this will be something to really build you up." THe grin was on her face though whiel she started walking towards the lift to go down. "We'll search out one fo the jedi temples here in the shadowlands. The watch is soemthing that moves around in the waters down below."

A temple? Okay that could be cool, Nova washed the sadness off her face with a sleek grin replacing it,
"Anywhere with you is fine..." she mumbled as they swapped from a hug to just holding hands,
"Although I like the view here I would prefer something more... interesting."

"Well the view going down into the shadowlands can be interesting. it goes past the deepest areas.... branchs like this where they have built cities and levels within the shadowlands themselves. The swamp like region with their floating temple well... it is eerie in that good way. Able to move around and see some parts of it." She said it while she was moving and looking out as the view. A hand touching hers while she walked to lead the way. "THough anything with yo would make for a lovely view I imagine."

It all sounded so incredible, the mysteries of this place would finally be revealed to her,
this sounded like a great adventure, and based off Serenna's words she felt the same way as Nova,
"Well, sounds like we should get a move on."

Serenna watched and led the way to one of the lifts that would take them down itno the shadowlands here it was just a massive basket but the thick ropes would keep them steady before she stood in it. Her smalml pack of supplies would give them cover in case they needed it but really they were coming to the outskirts of the village... it's main things just moved though in the waters and the swamp. A massive series of rivers that spread around and through in some cases the roots of the trees. Making for a swamp filled with crocodiles, vicious little things and fish that would rend the flesh quickly if they swarmed you. "Come on, it will take some time to get down to the bottom."

"You said 'shadow'lands right?"
Nova looked at Serenna.
"Is that name literal or is it just kind of named that?"
Nova hoped it was the second choice. There wasn't much that frightened Nova...
but there was a few things that would shake her.
