HISTORICAL INFORMATION

If you were a loved up botanist with access to powerful Genetic resequencers and lots of travel time between research sites, wouldn't you?

This flower was created with some simple genetic techniques as a gift from one woman to another. It is ultimately no different to most other roses, other than increased disease and pest resistance. However its petals have been programmed to fill their whites with a pink blush that originates from the heart of the flower.

When the flower opens it is almost entirely white bar a very small hint of pink at the heart. The pink then slowly spreads across the petals as the flower ages, eventually filling about half of the petal with a pink blush.
