Blue Steel Squadron under the command of Line Captain Stela'shlit'nuruodo.
This unit is a standard Fleet Attack Squadron based around a Heavy Cruiser Line commanded by Lash and from the card of Chiss military recruited in the system. A majority of the officers and crew are Chiss as it was put together from the personnel that followed Lash from the Chiss Ascendancy when he was excommunicated.
The Squadron is based around the Judicator which acts as the Flagship of the Squadron. Thus its official designation of Task Force Judicator. The groups unofficial moniker of "Blue Steel Squadron" is a play on the fact that over half of the crew of the force is made up of Chiss.
The Judicator is supported by the Grappler, A Constraint-class Interdictor cruiser which offers Hyperspace Interdiction and support fire against small vessels and attack craft. The Termagant, a Illustrious-class close support cruiser which assists in close support against capital and sub capital vessels and attack craft. Rounding out the Cruiser line is the Behemoth, A Annihilator-class heavy support cruiser which assists the group in long ranged heavy anti vessel combat.
Supporting the cruiser line the 106th Imperial Skirmish line consisting of the Tempest, a Repulse-class light cruiser acting as the command flag for the line, and the Guardian-class Frigates Meyers, Vespa. This group offers picket operations on the outside of the squadrons formation. Forming in a diamond shape with the Tempest often taking the forward point of the defensive triangle formation.
Rounding out the squadron is the 388th Pursuit line made up of the four Stalwart-class corvettes IPS-12, IPS-21, IPS-28, and IPS-42. These smaller vessels patrol the far edges of the groups patrol area acting at the first line of defense and the eyes of the squadron.
While this group operates as on formation it is often broken down into smaller task groups or even single ships as per the operation need.
The role of the squadron is to enforce Imperial order in and around the Sarit Wen system. Often intercepting rogue ships trying to enter the system or carrying out interdiction and investigation of issues involving the fleet and the security of the Empire and repelling any unwanted visitor.
