PRODUCTION INFORMATION

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Vibro-axe
  • Size: One-handed
  • Length: .7 m
  • Weight: 3 kg
SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • Vibroweaponry - The axe is enhanced by typical vibroweapon technology that, when activated, cause the blade to vibrate at a high speed, making it even more deadly.
  • Mullinine Edge - A mullinine edge was applied to the axe's blade, giving it a sharp edge that will never dull.
Weaknesses:
  • Range - As this is a melee weapon, it's range is quite limited.
  • Charge - The powerpacks within the axes require replacing after several uses. Not a very reliable power source as they can die in the heat of battle.
  • EMP - Considering the vibrations are powered by electricity, EMP weaponry can cause the vibration generator to short out and become unusable.
DESCRIPTION

The Blood Riders are legendary warriors of Clan Namadi who have gone through grueling and deadly trials to achieve the title of Blood Rider. They are at the front lines of every battle, riding their mounts into the fray without fear or hesitation. And a warrior is only as good as the weapons he wields. The Blood Rider Axe was made to be a symbol of their order. These masterwork weapons were crafted by the best metalsmiths in Clan Namadi to serve as powerful melee weaponry for the Blood Riders.

The axes are made from Mandalorian Steel, a strong and durable metal, as the base. The hilts are wrapped in Kiin'dray leather from House Verd to make losing the grip on the axes while in combat. Within the hilt of the axe, it is hollow so that the vibroweapon technology could be safely seated within the weapon. A button was built into the hilt to activate the sonic vibrations, making the axe even more deadly. As a final touch, the blades on the axes were given mullinine edges that were forged superbly and applied professionally. The combined force of the vibroweapon technology and the mullinine edge makes the axes powerful weapons and, in the hands of the Namadi Blood Riders, they are even more deadly.
