"I wouldn't call it stupid, Loomi: it was brave. You were looking to protect these people."

"I just don't know if I really did anything," Loomi sighed. "If it was anyone else, I-I could have put everyone on-board at risk. One of your kind once told me they saw my nature as... as cowardice. I probably would have just agrivated someone and ruined everything..."

It was hard to try and resolve things through peaceful means. She took no pleasure in fighting, and every Mandalorian she ever met seemed to be conflicted on the nature of what violence should be. Some were even willing to go after the weak, though fortunately she had met few of those. How was she ever supposed to do anything if each scenerio she wound up in was a roulette wheel? And with how weak she was?

She'd wind up dead, with a bunch of innocent people dead with her.

"No, stop that." Jenn's tone became... a little stern, although not harsh, or unkind. "Standing up for what you believe in isn't cowardice. It requires strength, and above all, courage. I do not care who told you that, Mando'ad or not. We do not live in a world of what if and could be."

Stern, but no less kind, it seemed, and confident in her beliefs, as with any Mandalorian worth their salt. It was... undoubtedly surreal, for such a proud warrior to extend such kindness to someone who should, by all accounts, be her enemy. And yet, here she was, escorting her to safety aboard a starfighter, rather than simply letting her go free! In the eyes of some, Jenn's moral code was a bizarre thing to comprehend. But were her motivations truly that important to decipher, when she offered her help so freely to a scared girl in need?

"Standing up for what you believe in isn't cowardice."

"Thank you," Loomi muttered.

In truth, that was a thought that had weighed pretty heavily on her mind. A lot did, of course. She had a strange past full of pain, a family she had been taken from she could now never meet, and the dreams of someone else floating around in the back of her head. Loomi was working on it though, or at least she was trying her best to.

Words of affermation helped.

It would not be long before a smokey green world would come into view, the hazey upper atmosphere of Ord Providence compozed of Clouzon-36. Not to far from it was the far more vibrant green of it's moon, Sellia II, where the accomidations for Refugees were being constructed. A knot began to form in Loomi's stomach. She didn't want Jenn to stick around and get captured. Not after she had done so much to help them get to safety.

"This is the place," she informed the Mandalorian. "Y-you don't need to stick around any more, I think. And I-I don't want you getting shot at or something. Thank you. I... I don't really know how I'm supposed to repay you..."

It was hard to state how much all of this ment to her.

There was a pause, then - a moment of dead air, with Jenn clearly still on the line, but looking for what to tell the young Godoan. Behind the transport, the starfighter made a rather elegant loop, turning back to head where she had been coming from. Only then did her answer reach the padawan's ears, her voice firm, and yet... gentle. Caring.

"There is a way for you to repay me", came her remark. "Do not let others dictate how you should act, Loomi. You are braver than you know, in intent and actions. You owe me nothing: not your life, and not your freedom. But you owe it to yourself to stand by your ideals. Be proud of them."

And with that, Jenn kicked the engines to maximum speed, burning towards her destination at breakneck speed. Just as she fell off the radar and began to disappear from sight, the last of her transmission came, full of hope, warmth, and trust.

"I hope our paths cross again. Farewell, Loomi."
