- Don Quixote: The deep red Qixoni crystal is said to enhance the user’s abilities as well as the strength of the weapon.
- Corruption: The Vexxtal crystal has the potential to leave a lasting wound. Corrupted by the darkside any injury sustained by the blade would be difficult to heal.

A warrior was only as good as his weapon, or so it had once been said. For Gerwald Lechner it was simply a matter of having the right tool for the right situation. He collected weapons, a true warrior with a fine appreciation for the unique use of whatever instrument he wielded. As such, when his path led him to join the Sith Order under the leadership of

The Sith Lord worked tirelessly, pouring himself into the new weapon. Each crystal was hunted down with a meticulous resolve. Gerwald knew what he wanted, and would not rest until he had the exact results he was looking for. He bypassed tradition. Rather than pouring the darkside into a kyber crystal, Gerwald opted to use a Qixoni crystal for the red hue. Often using the dark side when it suited him, the former Lord Commander sought to enhance his connection to it.
The crossguard was designed for function as well as it had been designed for decoration. Aurodium provided a gold color, a strong metal for the task, as well as the iron used to deepen his connection to the darkside as well. A small spike formed the pommel of the hilt providing another way to use the weapon. If needed the wolf could use the hilt as a blunt instrument to puncture armor or bone.
