What about safety after this?

Judah was bordering a line between overprotective and leaving Thessa potentially in danger. There was a thought to perhaps hire security for their home on Ceto, someone to follow her around. His primary concern was the mermaid. Everything Bane did was to get back at her in some way. Although there was the recent ordeal, Judah suspected Bane wouldn't be coming after him again quite so soon.

"You do mean our credits, right?" Just because he turned his nerdy passion into a money making idea didn't mean it was any less Thessa's. She was half the reason Judah continued to do what he did."You did what you had to do to protect yourself and preventing me from dying."

"I'm ready. I think Sparky is too. Maybe if I'm lucky one of you will be my personal nurse." Judah gave a quick wink to Thessa, following her steps, gently nudging her side.

The first inkling of a real smile passed over aqua-lips at Judah's comment. She gladly nudged him back, albeit very, VERY gently. "I really don't deserve you, you know that?" Sincerity shown in her iced-azure gaze as she walked with him onboard, Sparky twittering at their side.

"And not so loud, dear. Sparky will get jealous when it finds out I'm the only nurse allowed." Sparky wheeled off to pilot their ship as the ramp closed. And for once, the mermaid lead the salvager to their shared-cabin.
