Created in the alchemy labs of Lucy, under the direct mentorship of the Lady of Secrets, Taeli Raaf, the Blightmare was the answer to a single question: What if warhorses could kill Jedi on their own? Through a fusion of corrupted equine DNA, Force-imbued crystal matrices, and Sithspawn grafting techniques, Lucy produced the first generation of Blightmares in secrecy.
The process involved failed prototypes—some combusted, others gored handlers—and only through Taeli’s assistance did Lucy stabilize the psychic imprint bonding ritual needed to ensure rider loyalty. The first bonded Blightmare, named Morsmallow, survived over ten battlefield simulations and once devoured a Jedi’s speeder in mid-air.
Their deployment has remained limited—used as elite mounts for Sith-aligned agents or shadowy riders of the Order of Shadows. With each new generation, Lucy experiments further, always asking: What else can it do?
