Strengths:
~ Between the armor upgrades and the shield upgrades the Blastoise is an armored tank of a cruiser
~ continuing with the 'tank' thought , the weapons on the cruiser pack a tremendous punch allowing the ship to cause damage to more powerful and larger starships
~ the more powerful reactor increases the energy output for all systems
~ thanks to the Evasive Armor Plating the otherwise cumbersome, armored cruiser attains more mobility boosting it's maneuverability

Weaknesses:
~ the lack of a hangar is a glaring weaknesses to starfighters despite the cruiser's defensive capabilities
~ if the reactor core is breached there isn't massive damage caused. Because of the hypermatter reactor the ship will realistically vaporise from the blast in effect killing the majority of the crew and the ship as a whole
~ because of the use of the particle accelerator, if damaged from structural attack, the particle cannons will be automatically taken offline
~ due to the linear rails of the hypervelocity gun the bow of the cruiser must be pointed directly at it's intended target
~ in order for the projectiles from the hypervelocity gun to escape, the particle shields around the turret at the bow of the ship must drop leaving it vulnerable if hit at the right moment

Description:

The Blastoise was created with the desire of making a type of flying tank. Capable of taking on ships much larger and enduring withering punishment the Blastoise can be a solitary powerhouse or part of an escort detail. Created with an eye toward the future it's systems and reactor are prototypes of what the future of Aegis Corporation will eventually begin creating with capital ships, but on a smaller scale.

However due to the lack of a cargo hold or hangar the need for additional carriers for starfighters and infantry are easily apparent. And the vulnerabilities are readily seen. Due to the lack of a starfighter screen able to be fielded natively, the Blastoise has several defensive systems for anti starfighter/missiles. However because of the design that focuses on the durability of the cruiser and it's offensive capabilities these systems are limited.

Designed with the ability to enter a planet's atmosphere and deliver devasting and precise artillery strikes the Blastoise is capable of lending direct assistance to troops with boots on the ground. One of the cruiser's purposes is to act as a shield for the Diamond Class Cruiser which is an infantry dropship.

While the Blastoise performs exceptionally in a planet's atmosphere, it really shines within the reaches of space. Either as the flagship of a small fleet or an auxiliary component of a larger armada the Blastoise is designed for large scale combat.

I had placed them under defenses because that's their main purpose, however I understand why you wanted them moved because they are armaments.

Moved and done, woot woot.
