RC-1025
Clone Out of Time
Secret Separatist Lab, Destination Classified
Clone Wars
It was dark and the main assault was tomorrow. That was why they were being sent now. Intel said that there was a secret (until now) Seperatist R and D facility here. So far the Seps haven't got word of the imminent attack and the Republic can't let the Seps leave with their experimental weapons and tech. They need to either steal or destroy it without alerting the Seps. Such a task is too sensitive for normal clone troopers and it's too much for one ARC Trooper. It required a special bred of soldiers. This task fell to Republic Commandos.
RC-1025, also known as Patches, watched the ground quickly came toward him. At the right altitude he released the chute and glided to the rendezvous point. He touched down at the top of the mesa and shortly the rest of Dodger Squad joined him. "All clear," Patches said as he scoped the landscape with his DC-17m. RC-0311, Jori, motioned for his squad to form up around their entrance, a hidden panel in the dirt. A black armored Commando, RC-4678 also known as Sneaks, quickly went to work on the panel as the others watched his back. The stealth and hacking expert, Sneaks dug around the hatch and found a electronic panel. Plugging wires into it from his data pad, he deactivated any alarms before the hatched opened. Sneaks handed Patches the end of the rope and he slowly went through the hatch. He found a retractable ladder but didn't use it, instead having Patches lower him into the room.
Poking his head through a hole in the roof, Sneaks saw only an empty room with two large doors. Giving a signal, he was lowered to the floor and he went to the door panel. After some hacking magic, he lowered the ladder without tripping any alarms. The rest of Dodger Squad met their brother in the room and they formed up around their leader, Jori. "Remember the mission?" he asked them.
RC-2000, Bonkers, pointed a thumb at his pack filled with explosives then gave a thumbs up. Their mission was asset denial. Either they were getting whatever was in there or no one was. The others acknowledged what Jori said and then Jori motioned for them toward the door. They formed up, Sneaks working on the door control with Patches at the doors edge while Jori and Bonkers lined up on the other side. Sneaks put a finger to signal that it may take a moment as he sifted through map data and avoided alarms.
