SPECIAL FEATURES
 • Very fast and agile.
 • Poorly armoured.
 • Strong vs infantry, light vehicles.
 • Weak vs tanks, walkers, defences, aircraft.
 • Low volume engine noise.
Strengths:
 • Speed. The Bladesinger is extremely quick and agile, easily able to outpace most things on the battlefield. It also maintains very good manoeuvrability even at high speeds.
 • Firepower. The Bladesinger has very impressive weaponry against infantry and light vehicles. It can strike these targets quickly, deliver a devastating attack and move on again.
 • Recon. With its speed and agility as well as being quiet, the Bladesinger can swiftly scout for an enemy and ambush before escaping again.
Weaknesses:
 • Defences. The Bladesinger relies on its speed for protection, which means the armour plating is very insufficient. Regular blaster rifles might not penetrate, but anything heavier typically will. The exposed gunner too is also vulnerable to heavy fire.
 • Penetration. The weapons the Bladesinger has are designed to deal with light targets for the most part. Even if equipped with a Deathstrike launcher it lacks ammunition for a long battle against such enemies.
 • Aircraft. The Bladesinger is not a true aircraft. It has little hope of dealing with an enemy Starfighter and especially and locking missiles they might possess.
DESCRIPTION
For millennia the Eldorai lived in isolation from the galaxy on Kaeshana. During this time technology advanced, but not at the pace the rest of the galaxy did. Still, certain core concepts did get developed there as elsewhere, possibly influenced by old Rakata technology left behind. One of these concepts was repulsorlift technology; a very useful asset in the mountainous terrain of Kaeshana.

Naturally, this technology found usage in war. During the many devastating conflicts with the Kar’zun, the Eldorai developed the use of repulsorlift technology as a means to gain an edge over their enemies. One such design was the Saerith-Mar; the Bladesinger. This design was much as the modern Bladesinger is, but used a larger version of the infantry stasers instead of laser weaponry.
After the Kar’zun were defeated and ‘resettled’, the Bladesinger continued to be used in the seemingly endless Eldorai civil wars. The speed and agility of the craft made it highly sort after for scouting and ambushes.

In the wake of the incursion of the galaxy into the Eldorai’s bubble, they found their old weapons outdated and obsolete compared with those who came to Kaeshana. However, a development was made to the Bladesinger to increase the weaponry and speed to galactic levels to give the Eldorai a modern vehicle.

Vehicles of this type took part in the battles of Kaeshana and elsewhere, but it was clear they were quite ineffective still. Therefore, with the evacuation of Tygara, Queen Tirathana VII came to [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] and Tegaea Alcori and requested the company provide some newer versions of the vehicles for the use of both groups. A shipment of these speeders were 'lost' during transportation and were acquired by the Shadow Knights, allowing the renegades to use the vehicles. The result was the modern Bladesinger, which retained the massive speed and agility but added additional weapon options and modern mapping and scanning tech. However, it retained the greatest disadvantage which was the quite light armour of the Bladesinger – a necessary trade-off for such a useful scouting and harassment vehicle it was felt.
