A wan shen made with the objective to be able to fight without killing. Made with a long and gruesome process consisting in : creating a long staff with is own body ( the separation of the staff hurt like hell and it's was done with is master wan shen ) , several ritual with the wood core at the centerpiece, Carving the wood with makutai symbol , forging the metal outer shell in a force trance cause by two days of makutai meditation. The result is a staff that can resist energy weapon. But only people with a immense strength , like the makutai , can use it effectively.
When the weapon is master a great amount of speed and agility can be demonstate by the user , and each these blow pack a great deal of force. The problem of such weapon against a light saber is the range, if someone manage to enter the guard of the user, the staff couldn't be use to parry the light saber anymore and only hand to hand can be use . Which is of very little use against a light saber (except if you are a absolute master of tutaminis) .
The staff can parry blaster but can't reflect them.
When the staff is fold , the three piece come next to each other and are lock in this position . He then can be attach to the back of the wielder.
The folding mecanism was made with droid part. A cervomotor serve to make the staff segment move and they are held in place by magnet . Switch can be find on each junction to deploy or fold the staff .
