Braze ran his fingers over the amethyst-colored holocron, the one he'd crafted himself. The polished stone floor of the training area echoed with the soft scrape of his boots, the sound accompanied by the gentle whisper of the wind as it passed over the landscape. Pink and purple flowering trees swayed in the breeze, rustling in the balmy air. The distant song of birds could be heard, mingling with the faint gurgle of running water.

Sunlight filtered through the tree branches that outlined the open courtyard, painting the training floor in a sea of shifting shadows.

The pale knight paced slowly, his gaze drifting upward to where the long, twisted branches of the wisteria trees swayed. Above, the sky stretched out like a canvas of light and color, innumerable tones of muted purples melding against the backdrop of the fading daylight.

Veridia was peaceful, tranquil, and quiet. His jade-green gaze shifted to his Padawan next.

"Form One, Shii-Cho,"
he began, his voice steady, yet tempered with the weight of tradition. "Known as the Way of the Sarlacc, also called the Determination Form. It is the first and most fundamental of the saber forms."

He paused, turning to face his Padawan more fully now, his long, dark robes furling in the wake of his movement.

"Know this: the blade is only as steady as the hand that wields it. To master the blade, you must first master yourself. Without roots, the tree cannot stand. Without a strong foundation, you are no more than the flaws you fail to acknowledge... Do you understand, Padawan?"

Kaelos cast his eyes around.

The Master and Padawan duo hadn't returned straight to Courscant after their visit to Alderaan. Instead they'd diverted course at the request of Braze Braze and had set course for a planet that the young Kiffar had never even heard of before.

They'd found themselves in a temple, one surrounded by trees of purple and pink. There was a light breeze in the air, one that wasn't cold but instead provided a nice cooling feeling. Unlike all of the other temples Kaelos had ben in, the one on Veridia was much more quiet and much more tranquil than he was used to.

Below them, polished stone made up the ground. The young Kiffar hoped whatever training they would be conducting wouldn't require him to take any falls. He'd already established that landing on the solid stone floors would sting.

He'd dressed simply for their training session, forgoing the typical Jedi robes for a more moveable jumpsuit. He'd found that he was getting a lot of wear out of the jumpsuit when he wasn't in the Temple and he was considering trying to source something a little more custom that he could adapt for his own specific wants and needs.

"Form One, Shii-Cho"

Instantly, Kaelos recognised what their session would be on. He instictively reached down, feeling the familar weight of his crafted weapon at his hip. The trip to Ilum that they'd made with Loomi Loomi had been useful in many ways, but nothing was a better feeling than having his own weapon at his side. A weapon which he was now being taught how to wield.

"Know this: the blade is only as steady as the hand that wields it. To master the blade, you must first master yourself. Without roots, the tree cannot stand. Without a strong foundation, you are no more than the flaws you fail to acknowledge... Do you understand, Padawan?"

"Yes, Master" he acknowleged. He had a feeling they were about to be in for some intense training.

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

Veridia was a quiet, secluded place; one that Braze was particularly fond of. The air felt thick with the Force, vibrant and alive. Braze moved positioning himself in front of Kaelos. Slowly, he drew his blade as he began to speak,

"There are six zones to attack. They are," he began, going each and every one as he mimed moved

"Zone 1: The Head"
Braze made a sharp upward slash toward Kaelos's head.

"Zone 2: The Right Arm"
He slashed diagonally toward Kaelos's right arm.

"Zone 3: The Left Arm"
Braze swept his blade horizontally toward Kaelos's left arm.

"Zone 4: The Back"
He spun and made a quick strike to Kaelos's back.

"Zone 5: The Right Leg"
Braze cut low, aiming at Kaelos's right leg.

"Zone 6: The Left Leg"
He finished with a downward strike to Kaelos's left leg.

"In combat, the form can be wild and raw, focusing on simple actions. But you must allow yourself to connect with the Force and let it flow through you. Let this become a moving meditation. Breathe in, and out in measured breaths to allow air to fuel your muscles. As you strike, breathe out. The breath fuels the strike."
He paused taking a stance and leveling a mid guard at Kaelos Vryn Kaelos Vryn .

"If there's one thing I can impart to you about the Way of the Sarlacc,"
he began, voice firm but patient, "it's this: keep trying, no matter what. Even if you're knocked to the ground seven times, you stand up eight. A Sarlacc doesn't rush. It waits, it endures, and it strikes when the time is right. True failure is giving up."

He paused, "The strength isn't in never being knocked down... It's in getting back up, again and again."

Braze's eyes met Kaelos's with quiet intensity. "You are the Sarlacc. Never forget that. Now, let's do some light sparring."

For one of the first times since it's construction, Kaelos ignited his green blade.

Braze Braze displayed each of the six zones of attack utilised in form one lightsaber combat. He reeled them off in his head as his mentor showed each one. The head, both arms, the back and both legs. It was simple, not flashy but clearly had potential to be effective.

Whilst he was talking, Kaelos adjusted the strength of his blade as to ensure it only caused mild stings and burns and didn't amputate limbs on strikes. It wouldn't go down well if he accidently beheaded his master, and he'd have to go through the entire process again and he didn't want to do that.

"Light sparring, okay" he acknowleged. He'd sparred before, using a very rudimentary form of Shii-Cho against Caelan Valoren Caelan Valoren on New Cov during their lesson on Force Speed. This time he had some vague idea of what he was doing and was likely to stand a little bit more of a chance.

He recalled what Caelan had taught him, which was to strike in an unpredictable manner. He brought his blade in a slash towards the left arm, the area which had been described as zone three. Whilst swinging however, he flooded his body and mind with the Force. He sped up both of them in much the same way he had on New Cov.

At the last second, he adjusted his swing from zone three towards zone six. It was a move quicker than could be seen by the naked eye, but one that looked entirely normal to Kaelos as a result of his movements being sped up. He wanted to see if he could catch Braze off guard.

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

Braze was watching him closely when he noticed his student make a more animated shift that surprised him. Reacting swiftly, he brought his blade up to meet Kaelos's, intercepting the first strike. But then, he spotted the sneaky undercut arching toward him. Braze swiftly angled his blade downward, intercepting the strike with a deft block.

He held the position, though he didn't attempt to overpower Kaelos. Instead, he allowed their blades to meet and remain locked at that point.

"You're a fast learner," Braze said, a smile playing at the corners of his lips. He extended his right hand to the side, wiggling his fingers slightly, knowing Kaelos's peripheral vision would catch the movement.

"Follow-up attacks can help catch your opponent off guard.... What kind of combatant are you?"

"In what way?"

The young Jedi Padawan had no idea what type of combatant he was. He was the type who would try and prevent combat all together if possible, although he accepted that in the current political climate of the galaxy fighting was bound to occur. The Sith wouldn't just let a Jedi walk away, for example.

Kaelos flexed against the saber lock, finally freeing his blade from that of Braze Braze . He'd caught the little finger wiggle earlier. He put some distance between himself and the Jedi Knight, attempting to cut off any quick counter attack that might be attempted by the more experienced warrior.

"Form one is what we were all taught on Courscant. I know of the other forms from reading, but I can't say I've ever experienced them" he admitted honestly. "Seven in total, right? Although I know some of them have like, sub forms in a way"

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

"There are quite a few forms,"
Braze said, watching Kaelos back away. "Some say it takes a lifetime to master just one. I like Makashi because I favor my strengths which lie in speed and flexibility. " Braze practically purred as he sprang forward, launching several quick attacks—high arcs toward the head, a low strike aimed at the leg, and a sweeping back swing toward the torso, followed by a forward thrust. He was trying to observe how Kaelos naturally reacted to different situations. It could be easy to be distracted by something just at the edge of your sight as it moves, but it was good that his student seemed to keep his focus.

"All of them are good for different situations..." he continued, stepping back and moving around to Kaelos's outer flank. He pressed the attack in a catlike manner, toying with him a bit, but in truth, he was testing his students defenses now.

"If you want to understand how they work and when they're used, I'll give you the rundown."

Braze said, "Form I: Shii-Cho. This one's your foundation. If you're just starting, this is where you begin. It's basic, but essential—wide, sweeping strikes, big moves, and it's ideal for facing multiple opponents. Think of it as the crash course to lightsaber fighting. It doesn't take much to learn, but it'll get you to the point where you can do more. Its simplicity is its power."

Braze demonstrated Form I as he prodded and poked at Kaelos, slow enough to give him time to think, block, or counter.

"Form II: Makashi. Now, this one's all about precision. A duel? This is your go-to. Clean, efficient, no wasted movements. You want to fight one-on-one and leave your opponent with no space to breathe? Makashi's your answer. The focus is on control and finesse, not strength. You need to think fast and be fast."

Braze seemed to slip into Makashi with ease. His movements were quick and precise, his blade snapping into position as he pointed out target zones.

"Form III: Soresu. Defense, defense, defense. If you're in a tough spot and under pressure, this is the form you need. It's built for surviving, deflecting blaster fire, and wearing your opponent down. It might not be flashy, but if you need to stay alive, Soresu's got your back. Block, deflect, counter. Use this to conserve energy and try to outlast your opponent."

Braze moved to a defensive stance, stepping back as Kaelos pressed the attack. He gave Kaelos space to gain ground, backing up toward a garden wall.

"Form IV: Ataru. Then, there's Ataru. If you like speed and flair, this one's for you. Acrobatics, agility, fast strikes—this form is all about overwhelming your opponent with sheer aggression. You need to move quickly, disorient them, and keep them on the back foot? Ataru's your style. Just keep your balance, or you'll burn out fast."

He pressed the attack with intense, wild strikes, incorporating spins and sudden attacks from advantageous angles. He feinted, side-stepped, twisted, and bounded off the surroundings, landing after an intense volley where he had picked up the pace. Breathing heavily once or twice, he slowly exhaled, steadying his blade at mid-guard.

"Form V: Shien and/or Djem So." Braze took a deep breath. "Here we get into power. Shien's for deflecting blasters and launching them back at your enemy, while Djem So's all about counterattacks. You need strength in your strikes? This one's for you. It's designed to turn your opponent's strength against them, making sure you're the one in control. It's a more aggressive, power-heavy attack pattern, and it's a bit more like a hammer, whereas Makashi is a scalpel."

Braze lunged forward, moving to parry or bind with Kaelos. He swung his saber blade with a loose grip, tightening his hand just before impact to amplify the strike.

Kaelos opened on the defensive.

Braze Braze lunged towards the young boy early on, their two blades clashing as the Kiffar only barely met Braze's own weapon with his own. Every attack came from a different direction and most of them were only just being met by Kaelos.

The Jedi Knight began to demonstrate Shii-Cho, slowing down to give his Padawan time to block each strike. The attacks coming from Braze were sweeping and wide, much like the Shii-Cho demonstrations that he had witnessed before in the Temple.

Then his Master switched up, incorporating Form II into his attacks. Braze was clearly much more familar and comfortable with Makashi, poking and prodding like an expert fencer. He had Kaelos backing up, barely blocking each attack that was coming towards him. Some even slipped through the young Jedi's defenses, leaving minor stings and burns.

Eventually Braze fell into a defensive stance, demonstrating Form III. Kaelos began to press an attack, however his swings were clearly uncoordinated and untrained. They were wild, with Kaelos clearly just attempting to hit something. Braze, utilising Form III would likely have no issue meeting the green blade of Kaelos with his own.

Form IV was up next and even trying to defend against it left Kaelos exhausted. Braze was moving quicker than the eyes could keep up with, each attack coming from a different direction. Most of the Jedi Knight's strikes landed against the young boy.

Admittedly, he'd done better at defending than attacking, but it wasn't by much.

To demonstrate Form V, Braze came at Kaelos again and the young Jedi Padawan forced a saber lock between the duo to bring the fight to a pause so that they could both catch their breath. Kaelos was exhausted, and he wasn't sure if Braze was the same.

"You know me well, what would you suggest?" he asked between deep breaths.

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

"You should try Form Three for protection training," Braze suggested, easily shifting the lock into a bind before rotating out of it. He redirected Kaelo's blade with a controlled push, his grip steady. "Defense and endurance lie at it's core—letting your opponent wear themselves out while you hold firm. It'd serve you well before jumping into the more aggressive forms." His fingers shifted subtly within the hidden rings of his saber's hand cage, granting him an effortless control that made the maneuver look deceptively simple.

Braze considered before adding, "Soresu is the foundation of solid defense—keeps you alive longer than any other form. If you're not the type to go charging in headfirst, it'll suit you. It's not flashy, but it's reliable. A Jedi who can outlast their opponent wins without needing to overpower them.

Endurance and control will become your pillars. You don't chase the fight—you let it come to you. Keep your blade tight, economy of movement. No wide swings, no wasted energy. Minimal effort, maximum defense," he continued, his tone instructive. "Try keeping your elbows in, let the saber do the work. Now, start slow—sustain a defense against my attacks. Your goal isn't to win, just to last. Once you get the hang of it, we'll add pressure. You need to feel what it's like to be under siege without breaking form. That's the essence of Soresu."

He let that settle before adding, "Once you have that down, Form Five will come easier. It builds off the same principles but turns defense into offense. You learn how to take control instead of just holding your ground. But if you skip ahead too fast, you'll miss the balance."

His tone was matter-of-fact, not condescending—just stating what he believed Kaelos needed to hear.

"Are you ready?" he asked, a sharp grin flashing as he flourished his blade and swept it down to the side.

Form Three...

He considered it for a few moments. Soresu, also known as the Way of the Mynock was a Form that he'd come across whilst studying at the Jedi Temple. He'd read multiple books on Lightsaber combat despite never really engaging in any outside of the typical Shii-Cho lessons.

It was a more defensive form, focused on tight bladework and subtle dodges to provide maximum defensive coverage. Braze Braze explained that it was focused on endurance, allowing his opponents to tire themselves out whilst he stood firm.

As a runner, it made sense that he'd fall into an endurance form. Kaelos enjoyed a long distance, endurance based run so his lightsaber form focusing on that same principles made logical sense in his mind. All he had to do was defend and survive.

Kaelos listened as the Jedi Knight explained that he needed to keep his blade tight and waste no energy. Braze then went on to explain that they were going to run some drills in which he'd attack and Kaelos needed to just survive each blow.

"Makes sense" he acknowleged, thumbing his green blade back on. "My job is to just make sure you don't hit me, right? I did so well at that last time" he stated with a grin. The young Kiffar closed his eyes, allowing the Force to flow through his body and guide his movements.

"Go"

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

Braze surged forward, his chalcedony teal blade cutting through the air as he bore down on Kaelos with the relentless pressure of Djem So. Power fueled every swing, each strike carrying the weight of his full momentum. He was dictating the battle, forcing Kaelos to react on his terms.

His first strike came crashing down, a heavy overhead slash that demanded an immediate response. Before Kaelos could reset, Braze twisted into a diagonal cut from shoulder to hip, his movements smooth and forceful. As soon as his blade connected, he pivoted into another swing, a wide arc designed to keep his opponent on the defensive.

Braze's saber flashed as he pressed the assault, shifting into a punishing sequence. A sweeping horizontal cut. A quick reversal into a backhanded slash. A sudden, lunging thrust aimed to force Kaelos to his limit. The young Kiffar had no time to breathe, no chance to escape the crushing rhythm of the offensive.

"Hold your ground!" Braze barked, "Don't just block! Redirect! Let my power work against me!"

He stepped in, lifting his saber high before bringing it down in a brutal two-handed strike. The weight behind it was meant to test Kaelos' endurance, to see if he had truly grasped what it meant to withstand, absorb, and control. If Kaelos wanted to prove himself, he couldn't just survive. He had to turn defense into his greatest weapon.

Teal struck against green with force unlike anything that the young Jedi had experienced.

Kaelos had barely raised his blade to meet the swing from Braze Braze , stopping it from connecting with him by mere inches. The heat radiating from the plasma blades so close to him was intense, even though both were on a lower setting to prevent serious injury.

At least, he hoped Braze had powered down his blade.

The strikes were relentless, each one narrowly being blocked and sending shockwave after shockwave through the body of the young Jedi Padawan. He found that it became a matter of surviving, his brain had stopped even considering a counter attack and was just focused on preventing the teal blade of his Master from connecting with his body.

They were quick as well, Braze spent no time between each attack. He struck and as soon as Kaelos had blocked the strike Braze struck again. Kaelos was forced to step back in an attempt to create some distance but Braze just kept coming, like an unrelenting force.

The words from Caelan Valoren Caelan Valoren replayed in his head. Be unpredictable. The pause to think nearly cost Kaelos and once again he only just met Braze's weapon with his own. He needed to be unpredictable, use his height and agility to his advantage.

The duo clashed once again, and Kaelos threw out an elbow towards the face of his Master. It was hard enough to land and sting, hopefully without causing any major damage. He wanted to be unpredictable, not cause a broken nose or a broken jaw with a reckless elbow.

But maybe the distraction of the elbow would give him the opportunity he needed to push an attack of his own.

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

Kaelos's elbow landed clean. A sharp, solid impact against Braze's jaw. Braze's head snapped to the side his long white hair following the motion.

For the first time in the duel, Braze had paused. Just for a moment. Then, slowly, he smiled.

"Hah. So you can fight back."

Without warning, he threw out his free hand. The Force blasted outward, a controlled but powerful shove that was aimed at Kaelos' core, the intent to send his student backwards. A Shove hard enough and forceful enough to create distance, just enough to reset.

Braze rolled his jaw, letting the sting settle in, jade green eyes locked on his student. "You actually used Form V. Smart. I wasn't expecting that from you yet. My apologies. I wasn't aware that I was boring you with the basics of Shi-Cho and Soresu." His voice held no mockery, only an oddly genuine sound of approval. "Good. Very good."

Then his grip tightened around his saber. The light in his eyes sharpened as his expression twisted briefly.

"But if you're fighting like that," he said, stepping forward, "then you must be bored... and we can't have that."

In a blink Braze sprung forwards and he struck out; Faster. Heavier. Sharper.

The teal blade came down not unlike a hammer, testing Kaelos's ability to absorb the blow rather than just block it. Before Kaelos could fully adjust, Braze followed up with a brutal sequence of sweeping attacks, that made the previous bout feel like child's play.

A lesson in real Form V combat. Break or be broken.

He wanted to see if Kaelos could keep up.

The longer they were going, the more confident the Kiffar was growing.

A swift elbow strike had won him some seconds of breathing room and he seemed to recouperate a lot of his energy quickly. The Force pushed against him, clearly directed to him by Braze Braze but Kaelos was expecting it. He'd felt the growing energy within Braze before it had been redirected. He held firm, moving only mere inches.

"Well, a friend once taught me a fight is all about being unpredictable" he acknowleged, adjusting the green plasma weapon in his grip with a casual spin. He winced as he did so, realising that Braze's Force attack may have done more damage than he was going to let on.

Braze charged Kaelos, teal and green clashing once again. Every strike from the Jedi Knight was harder and faster than previously, yet Kaelos was beginning to find his flow. Each block came to him easier, there was more room between burning plasma and his face with every block that he made.

Every sequence made the one before it feel like childs play. His arms burnt with every block he made, but he refused to show it. His brain was working overtime, studying how Braze moved and attacked. His brain was working overtime, trying to find a gap he could utilise. His brain was working overtime, trying to find a weakness.

Both blades locked together, green and teal between the two boys. Braze was a fearless warrior, yet Kaelos was using other talents. He intentionally broke the saber lock, following up with a swing towards his Master's left hand side.

Hopefully it would be too late before Braze realised the swing wasn't meant to land, it was but a distraction. The real threat came from Kaelos' leg, which threatened to take the knees of Braze and force the Jedi Knight to the floor where Kaelos could strike.

"In a real fight, it's all about survival right?"

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

The feint caught Braze off guard. He moved to block, but the shift in Kaelos's hips told him the truth, a setup.

Braze reacted instantly. He hopped up, tucking his knees to his chest, turning his own momentum into an aggressive dive forwards and up. His blade stayed firm in a mid-guard, angled diagonally toward Kaelos's neck. A clean, decisive line, one his student would likely have to block or dodge.

Kaelos was strong. Smart. A dangerous combination. He would need to proceed with tact.

"Oh... I don't think we're quite ready for a real fight yet. "

He offered in reply as he finished his Ataru-style maneuver, pivoting over the point of his blade and soaring over Kaelos's position. If Kaelos blocked, Braze would use the point of contact as a springboard, pushing off with even greater force to propel himself further.

It was a subtle verbal poke, perhaps testing what might triger Kaelos oh so lightly with words.

Agility was right up the Kiffar's alley.

The young Jedi Padawan rolled away from the incoming weapon, creating distance between himself and the Jedi Knight. He also avoided getting slashed in the neck, which was a bonus because he still couldn't tell if Braze had turned down the power on his weapon or not.

Kaelos gestured, inviting Braze to press the attack. He fell right back into the defensive style of Soresu, the green hue of his blade speeding up with every small movement as he continued to counter the teal blade of Braze Braze . He was growing in confidence, that much was certain.

All throughout their spar, Kaelos had been studying Braze to find some form of weakness. The issue was that their didn't appear to be any. Braze conducted each attack like it was a well choreographed dance routine that he'd danced at least a hundred times.

Flawlessly.

Their scrap would come down to endurance. Who would last longer, the well trained fighter or the runner who enjoyed a long distance jog? Both of them were fuelling their abilities with the Force, Kaelos growing into Form III more and more with every block.

It was almost certain that Braze was going easy on him. If Braze attacked using the full range of his powers, abilities and skills then their spar would have been over before it had even begun. There was not a single part of Kaelos that didn't realise this.

Green and Teal clashed and locked between them once again, and Kaelos grinned towards his mentor. "Impressed, yet?" he asked with a casual wink. He hadn't expected lightsaber combat to come naturally to him and he was almost certain that when the adrenaline wore off he'd forget everything he learned and would be a novice again the following day.

But he was going to enjoy standing toe to toe with Braze whilst he could.

Braze had landed several feet away but charged back in, fast and relentless, meeting Kaelos' blade with a sharp clash.
"Impressed, yet?"
"Thoroughly so," Braze assured, grinning. "You're fun to spar with." There was no flattery in it. "Not often do I get opponents with both brains and brawn." A playful glint flashed in his eyes as he added, "Now watch this."

As their sabers locked, Braze shifted, sliding down the bind moving in down to the emitter guards, his free hand darted out, fingers curling around Kaelos' hilt. His grip pulsed with a bright white glow radiating from his palm as he pulled on the weapon itself, not just Kaelos' control over it. He wasn't trying to rip the saber away; he was leveraging it, pressing with his own blade while using his glowing hand to manipulate the balance of force between them.

The motion was quick.

Braze brought his leg up in the same beat with a swift yet controlled side kick, its placement oddly gentle, bracing against Kaelos' hip. Not to strike, but press off in a shudden shove.

The message in the movement was clear: Yield the hilt—or be sent stumbling.

Well that caught him off guard.

Kaelos felt Braze Braze reach out, his mentors fingers closing around the simple metal of his weapon's hilt. The Jedi Knight was looking to disarm his student, using the Force to assist his play. It was something he hadn't seen coming, hadn't predictted in the Force.

Refusing to yield, the student fought against the grasp of the master. He failed to see the foot pressing against his hip until it was too late and he was sent stumbling backwards. He tripped on the way back, adding insult to injury.

No weapon, on his back.

Unfortunately the training ground floor was made of polished stone, and it stung as he clattered against it. Usually he'd have been embarassed, however not this time. Kaelos was full of adrenaline, allowing himself to be caught up in the spar.

As Braze approached, Kaelos did the first thing that came to mind and rolled backwards and up onto his feet. He couldn't outlast Braze with two weapons, but he could certainly outrun him if it came to that. His eyes were already darting around, looking for a route.

"You have something of mine" he commented with a smirk.

Braze kept his distance—no closer than a saber's length—staying well out of arm's reach as he ensured Kaelos was steady. Both blades rested in his grip now, held properly this time. He toyed with the weight of Kaelos' saber, rolling the hilt through his fingers in an absent flourish.

"Aye, I do~" His grin turned playful, eyes glinting with mischief. "And what are you gonna do about it, I wonder?"

Kaelos cast his Master yet another smirk.

Braze Braze told him to take his weapon back, and he would. He wasn't stupid though. He couldn't take Braze head on, that guaranteed his loss. He needed to utilise his speed and his agility. He needed to utilise something different against Braze.

In his mind, he'd already plotted his route. He offered a playful salute to Braze before he set off, climbing a tree that was off to his right. He utilised the skill of Force Speed, climbing the tree even quicker than most normal eyes would be able to process.

He kept his eyes on Braze, hoping that Braze would lose track of him as he moved through the thick leaves of the trees. He was blended into the purple and pink, hidden by them. The close growth allowed him to climb from tree to tree to circle the training courtyard.

From high the air, Kaelos watched. He'd moved through the trees to get above his Master. Thankfully, he was getting very used to falling from high places. He'd done it with Vera out of her bedroom and since then it was getting easier and easier.

The young Jedi Padawan dropped down towards his Master, aiming directly for him.
