Rationale: Quietus' history with the planet of Onderon is very long and very full. Her IC canon connection to this location and the beasts began back on TGC in 2008 where she was placed within a Beast Tribe at the age of 12 and lived amongst them until the age of 14 when she was discovered by Sith Master Daritha (AKA Korran Halcyon) and taken to further her training in the Force at his home, Halcyon Citadel. The historical relevance of this to the current timeline of the planet of Onderon is significant. Quietus spent a vast majority of her youth on-planet, as well has most of her long-lived adult life, and inherited Halcyon Citadel after the death of Daritha. After reaching Master rank within the Dark Sith Order, Quietus made her claim to Onderon official, overseeing it and the surrounding space as the standing Governor and, later, the Pillar of Knowledge which was based out of Halcyon Citadel. Throughout and since the Gulag Plague Quietus has remained at the Citadel, slowly regathering her followers and building a foundation of talented and competent beast hunters and tamers. As the presiding Beast Master, Quietus was a bit insulted to find both Onderon and Dxun had fallen victim to amateur trappers and traders, slaughtering her prized beasts willy-nilly without thought to the selective programs of breeding, taming, training, and herd culling implemented by the Beast Riders. By establishing this business, she has turned her vast allotted fortune into forming smaller, controlled outposts throughout the wilds of Onderon as well as fortified underground bunkers [designed and built with the aid of KDY] with highly-trained warriors and tamers on Dxun. Not only does this allow her to keep a much closer eye on what has been her staked "territory, family, and people" for the last 500 years, but it provides her a means to capitalize on the one thing she is most skilled at.

Description: Blackthorne Beastiary is the foremost provider of skilled beast hunters, tamers, trainers, breeders, and trappers, as well as high-quality beast-derived product such as skins, hides, bone, teeth, blood, eggs, and the like. While based out of Onderon and the planet's moon, Dxun, Blackthorne Beastiary can be commissioned for projects out-of-system as well.
Most of Blackthorne Beastiary's employ comes from the people of the Onderon Beast Tribes. These people, majority having been born and raised in the wilds around the beasts, are trained from childhood in many manners of combat, survival skills, and beastiary knowledge. Many have been hand selected by the Beastia (Quietus) herself to work with her team of expert beast wranglers. Off-worlders may also apply to work for the Beastiary, but their training is far more difficult and unforgiving. Off-worlders are expected to learn everything a Beast Rider spent their entire lives perfecting and making second-nature in the short timespan of a year (for handlers and breeders), two years (for hunters and trappers), three years (for tamers and trainers), and at least four years for the rare student with an affinity for the Force and a dream to become a Beast Master. There is no room for error, as the Beastia is just as merciless towards mistakes and stupidity as the beasts themselves. Many off-worlders who have applied for the training have lost their lives doing so. Make no mistake, it is not a career for the faint of heart. Those who manage to graduate into the upper echelons of skillset are granted immediate placement within Blackthorne Beastiary, a home at Halcyon Citadel, and are expected after their first year of employment to then take on an apprentice of their own.
Blackthorne Beastiary's people work in teams of three or more, dependent upon their current contract or project. As part of their training for any who apply, each member is expected to pick a skreev egg at the beginning of their education, hatch it, raise it, train it, and eventually learn to ride it. Riders form life-long partnerships with their skreevs and often use them on missions and keep them at the Citadel. Because of this, Blackthorne Beastiary's people tend to develop a respect for beasts, as it want for the job. They are trained to work with the creatures smartly and effectively - abuse of the animals is not permitted in any form, and any beasts that are hunted/culled/harvested are put down as humanely as possible and without waste.

- Beast Hunting/Trapping - for removal of wild or pest animals and beasts from populated areas for safety reasons of the people / for the acquirement of certain creatures needed for business and clientele projects or products. Commission prices based on location, tier and quantity of beast(s), quantity of hunters, and other variables.
- Beast Taming and Training - to provide clients with creatures for use of guarding, aiding, or providing companionship. Trainers able to travel out-of-system at the expense of the client.
- Beast Breeding - selective and controlled production of continued quality bloodlines to fulfill clientele needs. Currently within home-territory only.
- Beast Product - offering top-quality hides, skins, bone, blood, eggs and other creature-derived materials. Current stock restricted to home territory beasts.
