The Resistance was staggering to its feet as the Provisional Government, lead by Gul D'razi began performing rapid overhauls. The Advisory Council was already moving about and High Command has unleashed the first of their premier fighting forces.
Black Squadron.
Built from volunteer pilots with a bit of experience out of the initial wreckage the Resistance was formed from, the Starfighter Squadron has already committed to attacks on the Sith Empire at Canto Bight and Anzat with some success. Resource gathering expeditions, blitz raids against Sith targets, and stealth missions all lie in wait for the pilots, however they must first be honed into the rapier that will cut out the heart of the Sith.
Laira wasn't assigned to the Squadron, but was currently attached to Command through the Remnant which meant lots of busy work. The redhead was responsible for posting their training assignment and answering any breifing questions they might have while deferring command to Captain [member="Kira Jax"] . Less than ideal for the Princess, but she knew better than to step on the toes of a flight jockey.
The simulator rooms lined the squad room, twelve different simulators for the pilots already calibrated to be comparable to their X-90 Stealth X-Wings so they would be flying the ship they were most familiar with and would have the most access to. Command and Squadron leadership would have access to everyone's flight data, which the redhead was responsible for analyzing and reporting back.
With a wave, Laira announced "Hiya folks. I'll be your ComSupervisor today I guess," her voice a little restrained and her normal attitude leashed.
"So today, Command wants everyone to fly a versus training mission. Odds versus Evens, six on six. They wanted it done this way to break up standing wing-pairs and put everyone in a little unfamiliar territory. Team Black will be lead by glorious Captain Jax; Team Shadow by the lovely Angel."
