'Black Market

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
"Uhhhhh....there are so many choices. Errrm...hehehehehhehe god this is hard. How to even chose?" Jesta place a hand on his helmet that covered his head and he scanned the multitude of guns as if he were Christmas shopping. He wore his regular spec ops armor and sighed. He was currently in the black market of caruscaunt looking to buy more guns for his personal armory. He pointed at a large gun and smiled under his helmet. "How much is that one?" Jesta asked. The salesman looked at him and laughed. 'Something you can't afford.' He told Jesta with a chuckle. Jesta scoffed and looked at the salesman. "OH TO HELL WITH IT ILL TAKE IT ALL!" Jesta shouted enthussiasticly. Hopping from one foot to the other and laughing. The salesmen nearly choked and went wide eyed. 'But, wait all of it!? You'll clean me out how in hell can you afford all of that?!' He argued. Jesta paused and put his hands behind his back, leaning in and chuckling. "Because being in the Republic Spec ops give me certain privileges. And though they do provide me with weaponry their guns are a bit to...how should i say...boring. I like these type of weapons. Guns and explosives banned from those who use them irresponsibly. In the wrong hands they could bring anarchy. But in my hands...they cause chaos." Jesta said laughing. Almost evilly. The salesman jaw dropped and he shivered. "Your with the republic!?' He snarled. Jesta tiled his head and nodded.

"Yep. But relax. While i could arrest you i wont. Im fair. So ill buy your inventory." Jesta said transferring over a million credits to the man. "Now pack up my stuff." He told him. Looking around at the massive amount of people walking around. "Busy day." He said.

"Simply intoxicating," the velvet purr smoothed across her own tongue, taking on a cattish song as the musing to herself was not simply felt by herself along. The black market, the proverbial kid's in a candy store feel managed to make almost any glory hog or weapon beast fall to their knees and praise their respective gods.

She loved this place, though she was hardly one to purchase anything. She had more holes in her pockets than credits, but that didn't stop her from window shopping. The holster on her hip clacked with her tilting movements, the flaunty nature of the bronze skin taunt across the abdomen brought about more than her fair share of glances, men and women alike. To hell with them, she wasn't trying to impress anyone.

Every way you looked, every kiosk seemed bustling with activity. You'd almost think there was a war going on, well more so than usual. Merchants were making their daily values and more, while the less than rule abiding sort were filling their armories with weapons galore. It could make a girl jealous.

Looking downwards to the thick gauntlets wrapped around her forearms- the round half arch chambers idle though the soft humming of them was clear they weren't mere regular accessories. She may not have much to her own name, but she prided herself on the claws she carried around. Created from the same matter and material as some lightsabers, the two prong lights that came out of the chambers proved to be more of an effective weapon for her own abilities. Guns and such were too encumbersome for her to move around with.

Large upright ears flicked back and forth - the gleam of the golden edges managing to catch the light at times reflecting it back, she stopped along with a few others to take a look to a single curious looking being that seemed to have recently flabbergasted the merchant he was dealing with. Those were the showy types she rather steer clear of, they had more credits than they knew what to do with. Lucky s.o.bs.

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta clapped happily as the merchant simply nodded and begun to pack up all the weapons he had sprawled out. Jesta had money but he used it for new toys. In this case huns. Bringing his wrist up he comed his pilot Brutus. "Hey buddy. I got us new toys! But...um...i need you to come down here and pick them up for me." Jesta laughed. Brutus chuckled and replied. "You cleared someones armory again didn't you?" He asked. Jesta smiled and rolled his eyes under his mask. "Maaaaaaaaybeeee." He said innocently drawn out. He turned his head at the crowd and the someone just bumped into him. Jesta laughed. "Oh oh sorry." He apologized. The man who bumped into him was a six foot tall human with armor on and two pistols at his sides. The man turned around and gave Jesta a stern look. "Was something funny punk?" He asked. Jesta shrugged and laughed. "Yeah. Me! Do you think I'm funny?" Jesta asked seriously. Jesta thought he was funny. The man cracked his fist and growled. 'Whats stopping me from pounding you into a pulp?" The man threatened. Jesta had his hands behind his back as if he were a doctor and he cackled. "How should i know? Your the one whos stopping yourself." Jesta informed.

Ears flipped back to mat close to her skull as the crowd around seemed to gather closer and closer, for what reason well that didn't take long to figure out. The man dressed up in his duds with a mask to cover his face, clearly was managing to annoy a beast of a human. If there was a fight to break out, everyone and their dog wanted a good seat for the free show.

Even someone lame could figure out that the huge lumbering human was looking to pick a fight and the man who had been just purchasing half a store was the target. It dawned on her then and there, this seemed like it was right out of a movie. A distraction as it were. Ears flipped right back upwards allowing the devilish little grin spread across the red lips, her teeth pulling on the silver ring in her bottom lip. They seen how much he had been waving around and now they were looking to relieve him of his goods. Except to try such a basic ploy in here of all places showed her two things. The ones with the aggressive human man were clearly moronic and two, they had no idea that they were already caught. And she highly doubted she was the only one to think so.

Crackling her knuckles letting her hands slide upwards to smooth back the white mane crested upon her crown, she pushed with no regard to those around her aside. Parting the waters as it were, a few curious looks tossed back to her when she made her way up front. Now it only became that much more interesting to the spectators.

Throwing a look to her right and the left, she let out a soft laugh planting her hands firmly on her hips. "Well if y'all are about to be getting down on the floor in a heap of testosterone, you ought to let a little lady referee this." she winked slyly to the other man watching him with a keen interest. Stupidity gleamed in those dull eyes, fingers lifted upwards to cut a push aside at least the armored male. "Come on now, I reckon we do this right." walking him back a pace or two, she threw a look across her shoulder to the masked one, giving him the look over. Yeah he reeked of credits, but what use was it to try and steal from him here. "Ain't that the cutest thing yah ever saw?" she flashed a slow grin, "Y'all big men fixing to fight and for what? A little coin and valour. You know what honey," she rose up on her tippy toes, to the human, "I am curious as sin to see what y'all can accomplish in beating the likes of him," she shot a thumb over her shoulder to the masked one, speaking loudly and clearly for all to hear. "But I'd like to see yah win without your little lackeys hiding in this crowd hoping that no one would notice their scheme to take mister spends a lot, credits. Whomever can win this show down, well... y'all can take this lass out for a romp." she winked again feeling as if she had certainly brought enough attention to the scene around them all, many of the crowd were looking for those who would try to be sneaky enough to snack away any credits the man had left.

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta watched as a crowed gathered around he and the man and He tilted his head. "Mmmmmm so this must be what high school is like..." He said to himself as the man continued to mess with Jesta. At first he thought nothing of it but the whole thing turned into a bit spectacle when suddenly a women...a very...very nice looking women shoved through the crowd. Although Jesta was unfazed by her beauty she started to announce things that didn't really need to be announced. She pretty much used her charm to influence everyone around her and when she finished Jesta laughed hastaricly while clapping his hands together. "Ou well done well done. You've managed to turn everyone here against the leader of the Republic Spec Ops. This is so fun! This is why i love this city! Its a endless sea of entertainment!!" Jesta shouted twirling around on his toes like a girl. Then stopping to face the man. Jesta turned his rear and smacked his ass while looking at the girl. Adding a little shake jokingly. "Im more sexy than you hot stuff!" Jesta said, laughing like a maniac. The man suddenly charged him and Jesta stayed turned around.

When the man was at last in range Jesta dropped to the ground and pushed himself underneath the mans legs on his belly and when quickly shot his head up like a bullet. The impact of his head crushed the mans delegates and he held his area falling to his knees coughing. While he did that Jesta sighed. "Oh im so sorry. Come here bud." Jesta said sadly. Sitting down next to the man and shaking him a bit. "You ok? Its alright." Jesta gave a quick hug and cradled the man who was in far to much pain to even react.

She snapped her fingers to him as he, "When you can get a crowd to turn their heads with nothing but a sway of your hips kitten, come on back and talk to me." she was grinning, at least for now. He was out of his bloody mind and he was with the republic, made it even better. They'd take anyone now a days, even someone half cocked out of their rightful minds.

Sliding a step back stroking a playful hand under another man's chin with a purr, she grinned watching him melt before her attention swiveled over to the... showdown? Whatever that was, it wasn't what anyone was expecting. The masked one certainly was swift, more so than anyone had previously thought but his tactics left the crowd moaning and groaning in accompanying pain with the poor human. She even cringed to the sight of it, she knew how bad men were with that area in general but that... that just made that human sing soprano without even trying.

The crowd began to back away, sinking off into the distance to get away from the lunatic republic man when he began to cradle his opponent, leaving her to look all around. Where she had been grinning now stood in sheer awe and rather disgust.

Pressing her fingers to her forehead, she muttered beneath her tongue. "Y'all enjoy your little love fest there, good... watching with yah." she turned right around to make her dashing leave as fast as she could. She was usually good at pin pointing others around her, telling where there sexual preferences laid but apparently she didn't hit the mark with this one.

Filtering back into the dispersing crowd, she followed it effectively until she was more than certain she had gotten out of that twilight zone letting out a sigh of relief. "I ain't reckon nuttin been that mess up in years," she mused to herself perking upwards to plant a single hand back to her hip. "Republic is just desperate, though it is a mighty odd tactic, bring on a bisexual man to scare the sith... marvelous idea." she shook her head, beginning to return to her prior action of browsing the wares.

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta let go of the man and watched as he tipped over and fell on he side. Groaning and keeping his legs close together and crying. "Come on stop crying it ain't that bad." Jesta said turning around and looking at the crowd walk away in disgust. Jesta chuckled and picked up his arms. "Whaaaaaat? He started it." He accused. The white haired women quickly left the scene and ran away into the crowd. Jesta stood there and smiled. "She is fun..im gonna go talk to her." Jesta said to himself following her trail. Everyone stepped out his way as he walked calmly. Following her scent.

He soon reached her taking a break and Jesta strolled up with a skip in his step. "Hello hot stuff!" He said making himself known. Being happy with his hands in his pockets.

Ears flipped back pressed close to her skull letting the blue of her eyes narrowed into thin slits allowing the hissing growl to come past her teeth. Watching how everyone around her were moving quickly out of the way, and the scent of himself in the air she knew she should have just left. But she wanted to browse.

Turning right around keeping her posture less friendly this time, she snapped her jaws. "Y'all got something stuck between your ears beside a mind? Whadda want, got a bone to pick with me darling? I made no deals back there and I ain't aiming to keep them with the touched sort." she tapped the side of her head making the firm inkling that she thought he was out of his mind.

Rather she made a shooing with her hands bringing her ears back up, "Mosley yourself along now, you got your look for free at my pristine hide, anymore and I'll be taking tender out of your hide."

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta looked at her as she turned around and he noticed she had canine ears. How cool, he wondered if she was mixed with any other races. Jesta listened as she snapped at him and he tilted his head. Laughing. "Well if i had no mind I wouldn't be doing half the things i an now. But trust me, as 'crazy' as i may seem I'm not all that bad. After all i was only defending myself." He said innocently. "And why would i have a bone to pick with you? I just thought you were pretty awesome back there so I followed you to see what other trouble you might stir up." He said calmly, putting a hand on his mask as she snapped at him again he pulled down his hood and slipped off his mask. Revealing a slender muzzle and wolf like ears. His eyes golden slits and his black and gold locks dropped on one side of his face. He shook he head and put his hands up in surrender. "Wow, just wow. Am I really a threat? I mean im not really interested in your body as i am your personality. Your just to much fun. Why would i leave?" He asked with a chuckle. His golden eyes piercing hers. "And besides. I don't want to fight you. Your cool, and made me laugh. So yeah, your someone id like to hang out with." He said honestly as if it were no big deal.

"I've seen some dead folks do some amazing things now," she retorted quickly, "You ain't be needing much of a brain to be crazy, which is putting it lightly sugar." she wrinkled her brow to him uncertain about this one. The loco ones were really the ones to watch out for, they could be normal at one moment and then the next trying to chew off one of your own ears!

"Trouble? I don't stir up trouble, it has a habit of following me around. Don't go putting hollow words into another's pucker." looking at him carefully, watching like him like a bug unsure of what he could do next, arms crossed under her bosom letting him remove the mask.

Where she had been thinking he was a human as well, he wasn't. So he was a feline folk, and honestly a curious looking one, she had begun to clean her nails. "Honey everyone in here is a threat, you don't come to the black market for a biscuit or a cup of tea. It don't matter if you're as sweet as apple pie, in here a lass or a lad needs to watch his back for any sort of knife someone is keen on sticking in there." Blue gems of irises lifted upwards to him considering him carefully; "Especially someone who is from the republic. Looking to get yerself killed."

She was holding her ground fairly well if she did say so herself, but any nonchalant facade she was holding dropped like a hundred pound bag of lead when he said she was something he wanted to hang around with. Throwing a look over each shoulder as if he was talking to someone else, she slowly drew back her attention to those golden irises. "Honey, this isn't a playground. You don't come here to make friends, for a sith's balls sake darling, what makes you think I won't try to slit your throat when I feel you aren't paying enough attention. Plus," she turned right around on him, flicking her hair upwards, "I don't play nicely with others, especially with those who throw around their credits like nuttin. I may not be a lady of the utmost class but I certainly ain't one who will just jump when some show kitty turns a purdy eye to me. Gotta work harder than that to get my attention."

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta chuckled. "Well then maybe dead people break dance." He shrugged as she continued. He laughed and sat on a crate next to him. "God your fun." He said enthusiastically. "Well im not crazy. Im just strange." He told her, yawning slightly as she continued. Speaking about trouble and clapped his hands. "Then why did you ignite the spark of that whole conflict? Thats what many people would call. 'Causing trouble.' Even though you didn't really do anything but ring on the guy who is now in...so much pain bless his soul." He told her. He loved the attitude. Gave him something to work with. She then mentioned the whole nice factor and he laughed. "Actually many of my friends are from down here. Believe it or not i spent most my time in the slumps. Never liked rich people, they were to strict and lame. So my friends are all poor. I may have money but i earned it by working in the military. You could to if you tried." He told her simply. She mentioned she could be a sith trying to kill him and he laughed and shook his head. "Yes. Your right. But i like to have fun. You cant live until you die witch for me might he soon. But who knows. I believe what doesn't kill you, only makes you." He pointed to himself and smiled grimly. "Stranger." He said finally. He stood up and walked up to her slowly and extended a hand. "And your attitude is so fun. I find it easy to talk to you. My name is Jester Macrovilli. But everyone calls me Jesta. And the Sith....know me as Joker." He laughed.

Was he making fun of her? The very idea that the dead could break dance almost seemed like a jabbing insult to her own intelligence but she managed to pass that off without much more of a thought.

"What you call strange, I call insane." her tone was mocking easily but he didn't seem to take much note of it. Rather he was starting to cause her to think harder about him. As he began to prattle, she wrinkled her nose at him, "I didn't cause nuttin now," she was firm in that belief, sure she might have egged it on but causing it, hell no.

Then he continued and she began to rub a hand down her face. She might have had half a mind to start saying something, but ears jerked upwards when he said she could make credits by working for the military, insinuating that she didn't have any sort of a job. Lips pursed deeply at him, not remotely impressed by the mere accusation. The thing about him she already noticed, he was continually happy. Never seeming to take things to heart, but rather making them a joke or a twist of a joke. It was enough to annoy her but she was hardly expecting to stay stuck to this one.

As he rose, she leaned back away from him as if he was carrying a fatal disease that only got worse when his hand extended to her. "You expect me to touch that grubby little mitt of yours?" she shooed it away from her, "Pleasure I am certain Jesta," who in all the realms was this weirdo, and bringing up the sith calling him Joker... did he have a more elaborate plot against the sith than she was giving him credit for.

Pulling on the ring in her lip trying to figure this one out, she sighed loudly, rolled her ears and pulled those large ears back again. "Well if you are just guna be all peachy keen and friendly, even if I don't know what your angle is..." she pursed her lips tightly, "Your bloody strange," she made no qualms about it at all, again she wasn't expecting to have to deal with this one again after this moment. "The name's Azarah, and that is how you ought to pronounce it as well. Az-a-rah!" she hated it when people pronounced it round, it was a simple name. "No pet names, no shorting it unless I say so, plain ol Azarah, got it kitten face?" she pouted more so this time, "Y'all done here, cause some of us gotta feed themselves without the backing of the republic or the empire lining their fat pockets with credits and such."

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta looked at her. "Insane hu? Alright ill go with it." He joked. She said once more she didn't cause anything and he nodded. "On of course you didn't. I just said that." He said innocently. Jesta cocked his ears at her as she rejected his handshake. He laughed and put it down. "Your a tuff one. As im sure you take pride in." He teased as she shooed him away. She spoke about his attitude and called him strange and he nodded. "Well lets he honest. At least I'm not like one of the hundreds of these people who are boring and frankly lame. You and i however are just loads of fun. Because my personality type is not seen often. And yours is simply so entertaining." He explained. She gave her name in a harsh way and he smiled. "Azarah is a easy name. Why would I say it like anything else. Sounds like a culture i remember something about Anubis." Jesta mentioned. She called him kitty face and he laughed out loud. "No fair! You can give me nicknames but i cant give you one? Azarah you slick." He complimented. She mentioned getting something to eat and Jesta rose his hands. "Oh oh! I wanna come!" He said enthusiastically.

This one... This lumbering black and gold critter was enough to make anyone insane. She had never in her years met someone so peculiar which was easily why she was holding her hostile ground. It wasn't often a lad of any sort of caliber came to her for her personality, but rather the volley of her body. It was new ground and one she was hesitant about. What was his aim?
He was talking, her sort of half listening until he claimed something about an anubis name or something or other. Arms crossed dropped away giving him a firm pressing look over. This one... This one was dangerous with how unusually giddy he was, it made her nervous.

Tilting her chin up, she snapped her fingers, "I ain't playing by your rules fluffy, I'll call yah whatever in the pig pens name I want." Blue gems glinted at him, a challenge of sorts. She was moving away, stopped and gave him an shocked look. "What in tar-nation makes y'all think I want your sort of company as I tend to my gut?" She jabbed a finger outwards to him -not touching him but at him. "listen up furry paws, I ain't got no time to be babysitting an overgrown babe. If you come along, your paying for it all." That ought to deter him she thought, men didn't like to spend there credits on her sort. Yeah that'll make him take a hike.

(smart phone post lol)

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta looked at her and she studied him and he smiled as if she wasn't ever mean to him. He was always smiling. "Sticks and stones Azarah, sticks and stones." He said happily, watching as she told him she didn't play by his rules and that she will call him whatever she wants. Jesta tiled his head and chuckled. "Ok then. But i don't think you play by anyones rules Azarah." He said as she insulted him and said if he came with her he was buying. Jesta shrugged and walked with a skip. "Alright. I guess i can get you something i dont mind. Because im so nice." Jesta said turning to look at her. "I bet your pretty nice under that shell of yours." He told her teasingly.

Brows lifted in unison tilt of her chin when he made the acknowledgment of her not playing by anyone's rules. He caught on quickly at least, perhaps there was a brain up in that thick skull of his. "No one has ever deserved enough of my respect to be getting me to play by their rules, and I ain't holding my breath for that either."

The plan in hopes that perhaps saying that he'd be paying for the meal would be enough to cause him to turn tail, seemed to fall through quickly. Where stood her prideful sense of self worth drizzled away to stare at him as if he had two heads. He might as well at this point.

He skipped forward with a bounce in his step leaving her speechless. How... how on blue blazes was he so willing to put up with her, she was throwing her nasty side around and yet here he was sticking to her like glue. It forced her to crinkle her nose at him allowing the wilt of the large ears to swivel back, her red lips pursing again.

"What is your aim," she had to ask it again, she had never been this flustered in all her years. If she wanted company she was pretty apt at getting it, and vice versa if she was seeking to be left alone. This took the cake and a few others with it.

Lifting her nose upwards to look at him from the slope of it, she huffed. "Well if I was you ain't guna be seeing it any time soon. As I said already, ain't no one ever gotten my respect and you certainly as hell ain't guna be obliged too either." Nodding matter of factly to that, she was firm in that resolve. Naw, he'd get bored here eventually with her scowling and snippy ways then, she would be free to roam as she wanted. Transverse into the trash if she wanted too.

Combing the long tendrils of hair across her shoulder, smoothing it absently ears kept back pressing close to the bronze spirals of horns as she took it more upon herself to waltz right around him not giving a secondary look. "Y'all best keep a hitch in yer step now, I ain't planning on wasting away a free meal." that was at least true, fine if he was going to be so nice she was going to take full advantage of that.

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
"Yes well respect is something i give everyone. For me i think everyone deserves it, even the lowest of the low." Jesta told her simply with a shrug. "Everyone lies, everyone steals thing. No one makes it through this life being completely honest. The way i see it everyone is set into two categories. They are either charming or tedious." Jesta told her, walking back up to the women and smiling. "And i find you a mix of both. Thats why your so fun, you seemed to have proven my philosophy." Jesta chuckled as she spoke again and nodded. "Everyones the same. You treat them all the same and i like that. Everyones the same, no exceptions. All of them, equal before god." Jesta said, turning around and walking with her in a skip. "Im sure you get free meals all the time. Your beautiful and you seem able to influence anyone. At least thats what i gathered." Jesta said with a smile.

"Nice little philosophy you have there," she didn't agree with him remotely. Those who deserved respect, earned it in her eyes. If you just gave it out to everyone and their dogs, then it means nothing. You know naught who is a noble sort and who are the deplorable ones.

Scratching her head letting her gaze close some using more of her senses to guide her through the people though it still seemed he had done a fantastic job at alarming them all that they would move aside. And if they didn't someone would pull them off. Part the red waters.

Brows knitted thought listening to how he was walking invoking her to open her gaze again to peer at him through her peripheral. "What you gathered is wrong, I don't use my looks to influence as often as one may think. The way I see it, you have just gone and called me a cheapskate." well it was sorta true but he didn't need to know that. "The way you keep stringing them fancy words together, I'm starting to think you have a ploy here other than you just wanting to irk and bask in my company." she pushed around some of the gents and ladies, catching a lighter whiff of a meal that she could down easily.

"After this, we split ways yah hear. I don't enjoy having some republic kitten at my feet as much as I like the empire weasels." she smoothed back a foot against the floor, daring a look around before she came through the open doorway to the drunken stink hole that often littered areas like this.

Jesta

Special Agent Joker
Jesta laughed as she defended herself by turning his words around. "Of course im wrong. As i said thats what i gathered, i never said it was fact nor did i call you anything. So you called yourself a cheapskate. Whatever that even means. I was simply making a compliment about you. Your nice." Jesta said innocently weaving his way through the crowd. She mentioned she thought he had a ploy and he chuckled. "I actually don't. I just like talking to people and i like to make friends. People normally act the same way you are now but then they end up seeing i am no threat. All those who thought this way are now in my squad and we have yet to fail any mission. Trust is key now matter how 'idiotic' i may sound of act." Jesta told her. She said after this they would split up and he shrugged. "What you dont like me? I didn't do anything to ya. Somewhat other than annoy you." He teased.

"Well excuse me if I don't take kindly to that there compliment you handed out," again her nose crinkled up. What was it with him, wasn't it evident for him to realize she was not the sort who took to anything most people had coming out of their mouths. She was on the defense and she was holding strong on that. He did nothing to prove to her that he was worth a hill of salt.

Plopping right down into a seat propping up an arm so she could put her chin into it, Azarah huffed nosily at him. Specifically at him. "Aren't you just right special then, got your own team and all that fancy stuff." eyes narrowed, "Trust huh, well I ain't trust you as far as I could throw you which isn't far."

Shuffling her chair around she refused to grin at his final assessment. Rather she pointed to him with a click of her tongue, "Annoying a lass is about as bad as threatening to kill them, alright sugar I'll lay this right out flat on the table" hands spread out on the smooth surface of the table, "You are nuttin more than a pesky flea currently romping around on my hind side, not worth a single dribbling truth or lie coming from that there maw. From where I am sitting, you are a royal pain in my rear end. Whatever it is you want from me, you ain't getting. Just because y'all can throw around your agility and can some poor dolt is your business. But unlike you, I," she slapped a hand firm to her chest, "I have to work for a living without the help of either fractions. So with you sitting right there all purdy like is nothing more than a slap in the face. So in a round about sum, yah I don't like you. You and the rest of them snotty upper class. If you don't like it, tough titty for you kitty."
