Vytal Noctura stood behind a large desk with various documents, maps, and scrolls laid out before her. A small outpost had been set up on one of the many land masses that dotted the water planet, which the woman of Dathomir and Witch of the Mandragora had taken for her own. Well, she had reached an arrangement with the owner of the outpost, at any rate. Suitable compensation for the meager amount of time and resources to plan an expedition.
It appeared the location of interest was submerged. Some would snidely remark that should be expected, except the pale woman's fingers roamed an old drawing of a map that suggested the site had once been exposed to air. Perhaps the waters had risen, or the land it had been built upon collapsed into the planet-sized ocean. Either way, it would require more effort than merely stepping ashore. What was more, Vytal was just finishing a review of anything pertaining to the site to better understand what they would find there. As exciting as the unknown was, she didn't want those she'd brought along injured to satisfy a hunger for danger.
With a soft sigh, the Witch reached out and retrieved a goblet of purified water. The soft rustle of the large tent under the winds of Wrea were the only sound except for the muffled cries of people in the outpost. So far, despite the lack of jungles or forests, Vytal had nothing to say against this planet so near to Ryloth. She wouldn't plan to build a home here, but it was quaint and even held a certain strategic advantage given the nearby, perilous asteroid belt. No doubt she'd come across far worse in the future as she prowled the worlds of the Confederacy and beyond.
