It was almost too much to take in. Sorel had accompanied Orihime to plenty of planets and they’d found plenty of exciting things — including the two Holocrons that she currently was custodian of. But this was so much bigger than anything they’d experienced before.

It was quite literally a billion times larger, if not more. In truth, its breadth and value was not measurable — it could take centuries to understand precisely what they’d discovered and like most treasure trails, they had not set out to find it. But unlike the majority of treasure hunts, they’d actually found something — which said a lot for persistence, if nothing else.

“Where to start,” she pondered as she looked at Orihime for both inspiration and guidance.

Hmm where to start indeed.... Orihime was thinking about it and there was so much that they might have to look over for now here. She wasn't certain what they would be able to do when the jedi was standing there and she focused the force below her body to head up and look at it. Observing from higher up as she looked out on the racks and tables of artifacts that seemed to just span forever but they could go and search. "Well lets go and look for anything they might have found in the deep core where Tython was. They were there before the bendu and others ever appeared so there might be artifacts and information about places like the old city. Places of the force or some artifacts that might have been from older things."

“Bendu?” Sorel echoed. She’d heard of the entity but was not entirely sure if they were real or not. “As in the entity that represents the centre of the Force? I mean, is there such a thing — and I mean both the entity and the concept of their being a place where light and dark meet?”

“I guess I always thought of it as a matter of two opposites, not a continuum. And, if I’m entirely honest, I saw stories of Bendu as parables as opposed to history lessons. So if they truly existed, I for one would be clearly keen to learn the truth, but also I suspect it will affect how I view the Force.”

Orihime was looking at her and. "The being existed but there was also the order, they were the beginnings of the je'daii who became the jedi order. Scholars who gathered knowledge in their limited area of the galaxy and eventually found the temples that would recall to Tython bringing species from across the galaxy to form the foundation of our order." Orihime said it and had a smile on her face while she was moving out and towards some of the things herself. "I think if there was more we might be able to really discover something great. Who knows if they have old Tython, or Ossus artifacts here, they might have even met the jedi and shown them different things."

Tython was one planet that Sorel had never visited — despite its prominence as a place of Jedi history. In part that was because, when she was a Youngling, it was deemed too dangerous a place to visit and latterly it had fallen into Sith hands. Most recently she understood the Galactic Alliance were planning to take control of the planet, and so a trip there was once again on the cards.

But maybe the Gree had something here from the history books — something you could only read about elsewhere. The possibility was exciting to say the least.

Orihime looked at her and had a grin on her face while she was going now, searching for it with a chance that they would hopefully be able to see itnow. She wasn't exactly certain though before all of the jedi were going off to move around now. "Yes lets go and do it." She was looking at some of the parts for themselves now until she moved through the tables and the racks finding some places where they could go. She saw some of the worlds that she knew well including tatooine with some preserved plants, animal bones and she was seeing samples along with clothing and pottery. There was Naboo, Endor, Coruscant and going deeper into it there dind't seem to be a system yet to it but there was a lot of beauty now as the droid was leading them towards Tython.

Sorel noted the translator was identifying planets she was quite familiar with and much of what she saw was interesting but not startlingly so. She paused for a few moments at the Coruscant artefacts — the place occupied a place in her heart given she was first taken there as a Jedi by the Republic.

But she was keen to move on and kept an eye out for the first sign that they had reached the section that was reserved for Tython.

Orihime was looking at her with a nod of her head so that she could move around. She was seeing more of it until there is was... maybe... she wasn't certain. it looked like some of the things from Tython as the small creatures and the remains of one of the rakata that had been looking to attack the gree on the planet. Orihime could see more of it before she had her scanner up and was looking at it until she motioned. "THat looks like it." She could see more of it there, moving around though as she pointed to the table in the distance and was covering the distance with a look on her face to get Sorel out with her. "I think that is for Tython." She was not certain aout it until she got closer and it looked like they had some places here to work with. The jedi were going to be able to see a few of the parts from different areas of he temple. She was looking at it.

Sorel reflected on what she knew of Tython and the Gree’s involvement. She knew their connection dated back many, many thousands of years before the Jed’aii.

The Gree were one of the earliest species to achieve interstellar travel and had visited Tython early in galactic history, though the planet was old even when they arrived. The Gree inhabited the Old City for a time, and there was a story that the Gree constructed a hypergate there.

But eventually they left and Sorel was unsure what artefacts there might be found here, given how long before even the Jed’aii they settled on Tython. But she was keen to find out and so was pleased when Orihime spotted the appropriate section.

Orihime could see more of it and clearing the distance for both of them she could see some small statues that looked like the kind seen on Coruscant and a number of other worlds in the galaxy, there was crystals and samples of the soil before she was able to see some of the better parts of it. Without the temples there all they had were reports from the planet of ships leaving. Many of them where they would be able to search the galaxy for beings to be brought to the planet later on but who sent it, who made it so these ships went out or where they would be getting people from. "Oh crystals and they have tomes here detailing ships that left the world for other parts of the galaxy. They had followed ones course back to the world."

Sorel was right beside Orihime as they travelled through the room. As ever she gravitated towards the crystals and she overlooked the other items like soil samples and small statues.

She picked the crystals one by one and knew that many were suitable for imbuing with the Force whilst others were simply gems. But none stood out to her and she put them back in precisely the same spots she picked them up from.

“Any mention of planets that we don’t already know about? I mean, it would be great to find some undiscovered ones.”

Orihime was looking at her and the droid that was directing and maintaining things appeared where she could see it. Showing some parts of it where she wanted to run a few risks for a moment. "Alright, lets look at this then." she was not worried about all of it thogh showing some parts of it. "Maybe, it would be something to find, somewhere we could have the jedi set up a temple and where we could be going with a lot more of our own stuff." She had a small grin on her face while moving with her attention here, picking up one of the crystals as it glowed to react with the force energies. "These crystals are very pretty and ancient, some of the first I would say that might have been taken that is stronger in the force."

There was something that Orihime said that piqued Sorel’s interest.

“What you just said made me think. A lot of crystals we have heard of are now rare or even obselete. Do you think we might find here one such crystal. Maybe a Ruusan? Apparently they were lost after the Ruusan Reformation. There could be some here? What do you think?”

Orihime was looking at Sorel and had a small grin on her face at that. "Possibly, though they might not have named the crystals as we have. They might have just called them crystals while over time we have put names on it." She said it though while they were getting to look around and there was some very nice crystals here that she could see would be able to fit in her saber or in her equipment. They might be able to find something from older worlds like Ilum or Ruusan here as well. some crystals that started and formed there before the two of them could go she started working on the droid to get an idea so they could navigate. "It looks like they have artifacts from Ruusan and monitoring from the valley of the jedi up to after the ruusan reformation so that is a plus and we can use it."

Sorel became excited at the mention of artefacts from Ruusa and the Valley of the Jedi. “Is there a way of cross-referencing artefacts from the planet with the term crystals. That way, whatever they call them, we might be able to see if they have any here.”

“Failing that, I’d be keen to catalogue all of their crystals — who knows what we might find.”

Sorel was looking at her and thankfully they had things that could do all of that and interface so she was more then happy to work with it. "Yes we do and we can work with it. Finding some nice crystals or anything that might have been there they found." She was looking at it when moving around. "They have something here, some large crystals that were recovered and some personal effects. The jedi and sith were al killed so their things likely wouldn't have been destroyed if they become part of the force nexus." She was curious about what they might e able to find there before a small grin came to her face. She could see some personal effects were lightsabers and there was crystals that were extra.

Sorel’s eyes alighted on the sabers at the same time as Orihime’s. “If there is one set of records I’d be delighted to see, it would be where and when they found these sabers. If they had a suggestion as to who they belonged to, that would be even better.”

“They would make a welcome addition to the museum on the Library if nothing else, and who knows, there may be a really famous one nestled amongst them.”

Orihime was looking at her with a nod of her head to it. Where they would be able to check out some of the parts itself. She could see the sabers themselves with a couple more things though. She was heading for them to go and see it, where she could get some information. "They don't have muchk, they arrived on the planet after detecting the force anomaly and the equipment there." She coudl'nt see names, just what was gathered before she finally arrived and there were small cases of the different equipment with whatever else they could find and reports for it. "There is not much else around with them but we might be able to see with the force who it might belong with.

Sorel gave the sabers the once over. None jumped out at her as being familiar — but that did not mean none belonged to a famous Jedi.

“I guess there must be some sort of database of sabers somewhere. So if someone technically savvy — such as you — could write a simple query to compare the inventory here with the database, we’d know who they belonged to right?”

It was entirely logical and if anyone could do it, Orihime could.

"Well there would be that, or search for trace DNZ that might be one them, psychometry the sabers could reveal it. Though some of them may be just sabers that a jedi used with not major history. some could be things like the blade of Lord Hoth or any of them there. We wouldn't know and here right now I don't have all of the supplies to make something that quickly." She was thinking about it though and a database for well the sabers and everythign that they might have would be something they miught be able to dow ith it. A better way to understand and construct lightsabers themselves could be interesting so she was able to go around. "I like it though, who knows what they may have for us to discover."
