Description: The TAR (Tactile Adhesive Residue) Grenade is the brainchild of Edwarf Von Hanbarf a humanoid inventor from the Inner Rim territories who once worked as a designer for a larger corporation. He was disavowed for outlandish ideas and his reputation spread thus that he was unable to find work at reputable corporations. Enter Black Armory Ltd which while small had the credits to allow him to test some of his ideas based on the principle that they might be successful and therefore profitable.

The TAR Grenade is small, circular and capable of fitting into the palm of the averages mans hand. Its casing is relatively unremarkable save for a black strip running horizontally across the center of the grenade to identify it. TAR Grenades have a pressure sensitive switch which can be pushed to activate a ten second timer or depressed to reset the safety on the grenade. It's a very simplistic but useful feature.

When the TAR grenade detonates it showers a radius of 6 meters in a light coating of dark black residue which adheres to anything it touches and maintains this property for upwards of an hour afterwards. Anyone caught within blast radius could very well find themselves stuck to the ground, walls, their allies or even themselves. Anything that comes into contact with the residue will stick to it and find it incredibly difficult to unstick themselves from the corresponding surface its joined with. Quite literally the residue, while active, has a tensile strength of upwards of 300kg ensuring that everything but the strongest individuals stays in place. An added bonus of the TAR Grenade also being that due to the residues black color if any of it gets on the visor of a helm or on the face of an individual they could very well find themselves blind for the duration of its effectiveness.

As stated the residue from a TAR Grenade has an average effective life of one hour after detonation meaning after the hour has past the molecular bonds of the residue weaken and the individual stuck by it will find they are able to pull themselves free. Aside from this the residue of a TAR Grenade has one other weakness Common, everyday, water loosens the molecular structure of the residue causing it to become pliant and, ultimately, useless. It's an easy exploit unless your arms are stuck to something or you're not carrying anything to keep yourself hydrated.

I like it. However, i have to ask: what happens if this stuff gets caught on someone's skin? will it cause a reaction at all? Or just act like superglue?

It would act similar to superglue for all intensive purposes until its hour duration expires or water is added to it. In a completely hypothetical situation it would be possible for two people to be stuck together if the residue from the grenade hit both of them and then they touched one another.
