Lilith Nytehand
The Singularity
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
This insidious piece of tech takes the ancient shield leeching tech of the Keldabe Class Battleship of the Mandalorians and scales it down to drain a bio energy, which is then converted into an energy that super stimulates blood cells to the point they are capable of acting and behaving like nanomachines. Deadly and very, very illegal, it seems to be a technology based attempt at mimicking the dark side power Drain Life, with mixed results.
It's extremely doubtful this piece of equipment has one sole designer, just as it's doubtful all it's parts were produced in the same location...indeed, thorough examination of the device during surgery indicates the parts that make it up were almost crudely fitted together, almost like it was not even just one doctor that installed it, but many, all putting the device together inside her on the spot. It resembles the work of the Ripperdocs on Denon, but that's the most that could be guessed about it.

- Classification: Cybernetic "Health Leech" Device
- Size: Very Small
- Weight: Average (grafted to the inside of her right shoulder blade
- Resistances (Optional):
- Energy (And other Blaster type weapons):
- Greatly scaled down version of the Shield Leech Weapon on Mandalorian starships combined with the tech of Healing Field Generators tuned to harvest bio electric energy instead of the energy of shielding systems, in a three meter radius around the user, which is then converted into energy that nourishes and regenerates Lilith's remaining organic systems, greatly increasing the regenerative properties of her blood to the point they can repair damage to her synthetic parts and tissues as well as skeleton and brain
- Upgradable battery storage and range increase, and can be removed/shut off
- Cybernetic can be "overclocked" to focus the draining ability in a single direction
- Coated in Reflec to avoid detection by scanners
- Shielded From Ionic and Electrical Attacks
- Life Steal: A borderline arcane twisting of classical technologies into something insidious, this Cybernetic combines the properties of a Shield Leech Weapon and a Healing Field Generator into one potentially devastating package. Sensors and nodes going all the way to her marrow are fed power from the theft of bio-electric Energy around targets, converted into energy that nurtures the bone marrow and causes it to regenerate slowly if it's suffered damage. The energy produced by the device through a poorly understood conversion process deep within it's atomic scale machinery stimulates the regenerative properties of all blood cells, altering them to essentially function as nanomachines while the effects of this modification last, making them capable of repairing not just her organic tissue, but all of her Cybernetics over the course of fourteen to thirty five hours. The device creates a slightly red tinged, spherical "Drain Field" around her in a three meter radius on default setting, which is active for up to five seconds at a time, potentially leeching away small amounts of energy from any opponent in that radius. Her battery charge that is contained by default is ultra high capacity, containing enough capacity to complete one full repair cycle of the potential lengths mentioned above. This setting is non lethal, automatically disabled normally upon full charge of the capacitor (Which, even if it got it's charge solely from one person, it still wouldn't be enough to kill them). The device can only be used lethally if it is overclocked, which attempts to draw all lingering bio-electric Energy in front of the user into it at high speed, potentially killing an opponent from the shock.
- Upgradeable: The module can be modified to accept range increases as well as extra batteries
- Stealth: The implant is coated in Reflec to avoid detection by scanners
- Shielded: Micro Surge protectors and ion shielding protect it from Ion and electricity
- Power requirements: Turning the device on will shut down all other augmentations momentarily, to avoid dangerous meltdowns
- Healing limits: The speed of healing does not increase, and Healing functions are directed by the implant to prioritize vitals over weapon Cybernetics. The healing is not total either... everything is restored to a "functional" capacity. But functional is not the same as "perfectly working". Repair kits and other tools will still be needed. Plus the regenerative properties are slow and not immediately obvious until many hours into the process
- Battery limits: Overclocking the Cybernetic runs the dangerous risk of the primary battery overheating from the rapid absorption of bio electric energy, leaving the Overclocking function to be used only as a method of last resort
- Combat limits: On default function opponents are almost never immediately incapacitated. Being under the effects of the cybernetic on its default mode potentially induces only slight lethargy that grows only gradually more pronounced as combat drags on each time it is used, but opponents in range are still a threat...it's not an instant knockout normally. And even on Overclock mode where it's actually potentially lethal, it can only drain all the energy from one victim at a time. Plus, there will be a slight hum at close range before it turns on, allowing potential opponents to immediately move out of its radius unless Lilith has them in some kind of grapple. It's best used in enclosed spaces, where the enemy cannot immediately retreat. It becomes much less useful in open battle against powerful opponents, who may be able to easily shrug off it's effects. Lastly the augmentation can heat to dangerous levels the more it's used. Normally, Lilith will not be able to use it's default mode more than three times in a fight every 24 hours, or only once every 24 hours if overclocked, to avoid the risk of it exploding in her
- Repair difficultues: This Aug was evidently difficult enough to produce even for the people who installed it in her. If it takes significant damage, only a true Cybernetics expert has a hope of repairing it, and the number of cyberdocs who understand what this augmentation is meant to do and how it functions could probably be counted on one hand. The schematics and the math and physics formulas that make it work are so gibberish even Lilith's own internal database can barely make sense of it. It would presumably be also very expensive to fix as well.
- SUPER FREAKING ILLEGAL: It's a Cybernetic implant that drains the life energy of organisms in a potentially violent and painful manner. You better believe it is illegal. And you can bet Lilith is looking at serious prison time if it's detected in her.
