GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Bio Eels
  • Designation: Non-Sentient
  • Origins: These were made by Nelson Prototyping as a means of powering a future project.
  • Average Lifespan: 200 Years
  • Estimated Population: Common, 10,000.
  • Description:

The Bio Eels are an artificially made species that was engineered to be used as a power supply for organic ships. Created based off of a legend about "Electric Eels" that existed on a distant world, the Bio Eels were inspired by that legend. They were made in a lab and can generate on their own enough power to power a small city easily. They are unique in that regard. They do need to consume a lot of meat in order to power their electrical generation. Another unique thing about them is that Bio Eels are very loyal to their owner.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: They breathe in water, H20.
  • Average Height of Adults: 7 Feet
  • Average Length of Adults: 2 Meters
  • Skin color: Dark Blue
  • Hair color: N/A
  • Distinctions: They are Electric Eels.
  • Races: N/A
  • Force Sensitivity: Rare

  • Strengths:
- Exotic: Due to the Exotic Nature of the power generated by the Bio Eels most sensors would not be able to detect them easily. This gives them a level of covert powering that most ships wouldn't have.

- Easy to Replace: The Bio Eels are easy to replace compared to conventional power supplies.

- Power Generation: On their own one of them can generate enough energy to power a city for a year.

Weaknesses:
  • Durability: The BIo Eels aren't the most durable. Any and all damage could kill them.
  • Failure to Bond: Failing to bond with one when they are young would render them useless.
  • Force Sensitivity: Uses of the Force can shorten the Lifespan of a Bio Eel. Even so much as using Force Push around them would likely kill one of them. They are very sensitive in that regard even if they can't USE the Force, they can still SENSE it. The sensation is enough to overwhelm them and kill them.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Carnivore.
  • Communication: N/A
  • Technology level: They don't use Tech.
  • Religion/Beliefs: N/A
  • General behavior: The Bio-Eels mate with the strongest male of their species. They are very aggressive outside of people who have interacted with them when they were small. With people who have done so, they are very loyal. They really don't have a culture per say.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Bio-Eels were made based off of a species that once existed, Electric Eels. From looking into the legends of the species Taji was able to have Nelson Prototyping engineer a species similar but also unique in that they generated way more power than what their extinct cousins generated. They were also made to provide a unique power supply for the ships of the Thieves Guild because using conventional power sources just seemed like the wrong call for a group of Thieves in the eyes of Taji. So, the Bio Eels were developed in order to make a suitable energy source.

They were also developed as one of the components of a living ship.

Their sizes vary between young, medium age, or oldest. At young, they're small about 2 Feet in height / length. As they grow older, the height and length increases.

It seems that you accidentally deleted the Historical Information header from the template here. Could you give it another look and make sure you have all the components for the template in place and then give me a tag.

We can get this rolling once you do that for me.

Thanks!
