Biggest Bash of All Time

Bonny smiled her most dashing flash of dimples and ear to ear pleasure - the other had caught said get of her approach. Sipping from the cocktail glass in her hand, she continued her pace toward the woman. She was beautiful, and Bonny liked to be in the presence of beauty. When she was close enough, the slim redhead offered a smile yet again, "Hi." Nothing else was said, she didn't need to fill the silence. The music was doing that just fine.

Koda had been through a tough bit herself. Here and now, it would seem as if she had been a royal, always knowing she was now the heir to [member="Vokun"] . But truth was, she wasn't always as such. It was her mask, she was in truth a Cinderella. Possibly she and [member="Lady Kay"] were very similar in a way on different sides of the spectrum.

She followed Kay and Oaxim into the zoo and she was immediately taken in by the sights, sounds and.. Smells as well. She had been emotionless until now. Her cover was blown as it seemed she was a small child again facing a bigger world than what she knew. Koda walked enclosure to enclosure. She observed every and each animal, taking it all in.

"I'm fine with anything. I.. I've never seen such thing before. These animals.. The plants.. It's incredible. I never realized life flourished so wildly or beautifully before.."

She responded, still taken by the sights. She walked up to a horse like creature and she ran her hand down the fencing. The horse came over to where she stood, a docile creature really, almost seemingly making a connection. Her mind wandered to Vokun, worrying but trusting him.

Vokun stood covered in viscous red fluid, right arm hanging loose from the shoulder. Breathing slightly ragged, one eye closed solid from bluish brown swelling. He had made a single error in his positioning, been taken to the ground, from which he shifted to defensive and did his best to not be harmed. This in and of itself heavily eroded his power reserves, so when he rose it became a much more even battle.

There the bodies lie, dead or unconscious. Here he stood, alive and bruised. That was where it ended.

A single bang sounded as he vanished from the location. Now in the center of his palace, Vokun found his way to the Bacta tanks inside. Resting for a few moments in the green depths, not even bothering with breathing mask. Then he readied himself again, stored the Scepter of Ragnos, then once again Folded Space. This time he appeared directly next to the group, with another loud bang.

"Sorry for the noise. The air is forced out of the space like a mini explosion." Vokun apologized, "Anyway, problem handled Pax. Let the others know it is clear to clean house." Pax nodded and moved away a foot or two, speaking in a hushed tone.

"So, lets move this way, its my favorite exhibit." He lead them slowly toward a clear force field, inside which could be seen a massive flying dragon, "Krayt. My home planet's - well technically my adopted home's - most predatorial species. Absolutely ferocious, majestic, apex. I would like to imagine that I am like them. Though it is likely I simply am imagining things." Ignoring the pain of his freshly adjusted shoulder, which was previously dislocated, Vokun reached out to touch Koda gently. It was his way to say, despite the obvious lumps and bumps, he was fine.

He hoped it was not seen by the others. This was not his girlfriend, wife or other. He did not want her embarrassed if it was.

"They are quite the species. I have seen them take out an entire village, one. Not needing any assistance." Vokun stated. This was primarily why he was so adamant in his youth that he was like the dragons. They were untouchable, as he had been. Hell he had been in a fight among a dozen Mandalorians, and the Mandalore himself. Alone.

"I once faced an impossible to defeat situation. The Thronebreaker, a man unmatched in telekinetic power, Kane Zambrano, and others. Genuinely apex Sith. I attacked them all, without pause. Nearly took down the Thronebreaker. But he managed to get me." He smiled, "You can imagine from that why my youthful mind attached the comparison."

"All done, sir." Pax said finally catching up to them.

"Thank you," Vokun said. "There, that beast there," He gestured to a spot that held no form. Little did Vokun realize that his eyes simply saw through the Force Cloak projected around it, "-is called a Maalraas. They are incredible. Predatorial, fast, untouchable. They can project a potent invisible field around themselves that is almost unmatched. To date I have only known of three beings able to best their prowess. It is quite impressive." He grinned, "It is quite abusive some say, putting a lone beast among a dozen others equally as dangerous. But I am training that one. Her name is Kuchio, my pup."

Kay half wondered how shelteted of a life that [member="Koda Berus"] must have had to have never come across such life and nature before. It was unusual, but not entirely unheard of. Kay had been lucky to have travelled to so many different worlds in her lifetime, and she preferred those that still held their natural environment. Commenor was one such a world.

The bang signalling [member="Vokun"] 's arrival caught her by surprise. It made her jump. Such was a gift in the Force that she hadn't come across while she was awake. Her heart beat quickly in her chest. Kay placed her hand on it asahe eased up her breath in a bid to slow the organ down.

All of that was forgotten however assoon as she wasshown the dragons. Kay listened to the stories and descriptions of them, her eyes kept solely on the magnificent beasts, except for when he mentioned the name Zambrano. Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly, and her hands curled into fists, a wave of anger flooding her, but all for a brief moment. The arrival of Pax took her from her thoughts.

And it was when Vokun pointed at nothing that she raised a brow again. "I don't see her...are you sure that she's there?" Her eyes tried to find any odd bends in the light to indicate some kind of shield, but found nothing. If she had reached out with the Force to get a better sense, then she might of known otherwise. But instead she kept her abilities hidden.

As [member="Vokun"] sonic boomed into the area, Koda was shocked and freaked out as she started preparing herself for battle until she saw Vokun. Still slightly tense, she relaxed as she saw him. She could sense his pain though. Something was wrong, but he was ok. He then said to follow him over to another enclosure. She looked at it, taking a moment seeing nothing and then all of a sudden she saw it. It was a beautiful dragon. She looked at it in awe as she then turned around to the touch of Vokun on her shoulder. She was not shy or embarrassed, but relieved. He was still alive. She gave him a smile.

"They're quite beautiful creatures."

She said while looking at him. She then turned to see [member="Lady Kay"] a bit perturbed as she couldn't see the other creatures. Koda was surprised. She could see it clear as day and it looked at her and Vokun. She misunderstood why she could see it and Kay couldn't, but the possibilities were always endless.

"You don't see her? I do.. I don't know why, but I do.."

She responded in a shocked tone. Koda was impressed by all of the different species of creatures and plants in the area, she was truly taken away by the sights. Her life had been so dull before this and it seemed like she was being brought back to life once more after misery of all the things she had experienced.

Vokun held up a hand, palm facing toward the roof. In it suddenly shown a miniature sun it seemed, "Koda it is because you and I are getting close already. Our bond is an oddity as well. It is allowing you a dominance over my specialty." The ball of light faded, "That was the same premise - manipulations of light. I, and the Maalraas, can bend light at whim. They just do not know what they possess, simply going off of instinct."

A movement of the same upheld hand caught Kuchios attentions. A second motion was caught, the silent command for come. Immediately the pup turned and began loping in the direction of the exit, still cloaked. Before long the beast settled herself in a proud sitting position next to her master, dropping the cloak as she did so. None of the workers even seemed to notice.

She was not dangerous unless she felt threatened, or her Master. The pup moved a slight distance toward Kay, then cocked her head before turning away from her and her entourage. It was a sign she did not sense a threat. The Heir however, would receive a brunt of licking along her hand and arm from the child like animal.

"Well she likes you both." Vokun chuckled, "You a lot Koda, maybe we should go out to the gardens some time. Have a meal, bring her with us and let her run."

It made her feel a little bit crazy to not see what both [member="Koda Berus"] and [member="Vokun"] could see. Although they could've been playing a prank on her.

But the moment that the 'pet' appeared before them, Kay took half a step back. It wasn't out of fear, but out of surprise. At least she knew that the thing was real now, and at least she wasn't deemed a threat. Thankfully it took not much notice of her after that. "I don't think that I could ever have a pet. No matter how tough of a creature it would be, it would be vulnerable and targeted." Although Commenor had no enemies, the same couldn't be said to her individually. She had a droid once, a K2 unit that was crushed by a Sith Lord. Ever since then she ceased to own anything that could be used against her like that.

Koda looked to [member="Vokun"] and smiled as she listened to what he was saying. She watched him and the light ball he had created. Koda smiled watching it. She was curious of what he had said, but she believed she understood what he meant. She paused to think for a moment before looking back to the creature and Vokun.

"So this is what it's like being an heir?"

She asked regarding the powers. Koda looked over to [member="Lady Kay"] noticing that she felt like a crazy lady. Koda had felt that way herself for the longest time. Only when the creature was revealed that Kay reacted. She was surprised as the creature came over to her and sniffed her but then as it came over to Koda, it completely assaulted her arm playfully, licking it as Koda laughed. She placed her hand on the animal's head and pet her softly.

Koda looked up to Vokun as her name was mentioned and she smiled once more.

"I would love that."

She responded with a wide smile as she watched and heard everything.

"Of course. As is the situation for myself, and all my close allies." Vokun nodded, "It is the problem of being a face for the public. Do good, or bad depending on the person, and the public loves you. However there is always the bigger picture. For example, I am sure you can tell how religious the average being here on Val'hala is. I don't tend to face scrutiny because of my actions, not from natives, or those who live here long enough. Yet, we are under the power of factions. So I still am a target, just from the unseen."

At the question of Heir, Vokun shrugged, "Potentially. We have bonded, and you have seen the power I utilize a multitude of times already. So it could be simply your own potential, our bond, or anything else. My successor, and technical predecessor of GodKing, Damien Daemon had an Heir who was the opposite though, weak as could be, unimposing or holding mass potential. I believe you are just strong." Vokun smiled, then He nodded when she consented, "We could bring a plethora of stuff to enjoy, like maybe some drinks and the like. Make a date out of it." He paused, "How about tomorrow evening, I have Devra gather the stuff we might want, and we can go then?"

"Sir, to be honest, Dev already has a trip packed and ready. I also just won 300 chips." Pax chuckled, "We in the Palace had a bet on when you two would finally gain the guts to go on a date. I said a three weeks and two days." If Koda checked her calendar, his guess was perfect. To the day.

"Wow, that's a precise bet Pax. I'll have to give you a decent amount more for that. Quite outstanding really." Vokun marveled. He was the Force sensitive, the one trained as well. But He could never have predicted that kind of bet. The brutish man also never noticed the humor in having a wager set on his stupidity by his house staff.

Kay stepped further back as Pax, [member="Koda Berus"] and [member="Vokun"] proceeded to have a private conversation. She turned and busied herself with studying the nearest flowers. They were an odd mix between blue and purple, sometimes looking more like one colour than the other. She wondered if they were somehow related to a flower on Commenor that changed colours with the changing of the humidity levels. It was entirely possible, though she was no botanist.

She kept to herself, letting them converse on their own. What was it that she had come here for again? Oh yes, a business deal of sorts. The zoo was a nice distraction however. The length of her stay couldn't be long though as she had much to do back home. But rather than be rude to her hosts and disappear when they were busy, she decided to stick around. At least for a little bit longer.

Koda listened to [member="Vokun"] as he answered [member="Lady Kay"]'s comment. As she was listening, she felt the wet nose of the creature come over and nuzzle Koda's hand. Bending down, she smiled as she pet her. She was beautiful really. After he finished answering Kay, Koda looked up at him and smiled as he answered her question. Being the heir made her feel like something special. Almost like she was a princess. She thought on about it for a moment as the conversation progressed into the plans of their picnic.

"That would be amazing! I've been told I have a way with animals.. But I've not met many. Only a few. Also.." She paused. "I've never been on a picnic either.."

She responded. Then she looked over to Pax, standing up in the process giving him a certain look of surprise. She had never heard of someone betting on when two people were going to make the first move to ask the other out. She laughed slightly.

"Wait a minute.. You've been betting on when one of us were going to ask the other out? Since we met?!"

She laughed again.

"Three weeks and two days eh? Has it really only been that short of time since we've known each other? Also how many times do you actually wager on this man??"

She asked sarcastically giving a sly grin. Too many questions came out all at once, but that was her. When she had a question, she asked it and it always followed with a few more.

Pax could not stop himself, the flow of a sad sigh escaped him. This was a young powerful woman, who simply had never done any of the things that most humanity consider childish. Instead she had been forced to grow through every level, aging faster than should have been allowed. What would she do though? If given the choice, would she have wished to have her life altered? She never hid her strength, wearing it on her sleeve in it's obviousness. So what he knew of her, told him no she would not change.

"No worries, I am just impeccable at knowing Vokun." Pax stated her first bit of confusion, but when she continued going on, he shrugged, "I know Vokun, well. Better than anyone else. If you ever have a feeling, or question, that he won't answer, just ask me." He grinned over at the woman before cocking his gaze to the man who so long ago bought him from slavery. Vokun, as Zaiden then, had purchased him and for whatever reason instantly made him in charge of the factory built. Then it was both main facutlies. Next the company as a whole. Now here Pax was, legitimately one of the most influential beings alive, and he still looked to Vokun like the idiotic oaf of an older brother.

"Shut up Pax, you don't know me as well as you think!" The echoing snort that came as a response lasted for quite a moment, even after Pax offered a bow to the group too duck out. Whatever he had to do. It was not Vokun's job.

"Anyway, Lady Kay, please forgive me. A moment there I sensed.. impatience was it? Did you actually need something from me? No disrespect meant, " Vokun raised his hand defensively, "Its rather more that i thought we were just having a tour for the time being. Else you would simply like us to move along faster? I only wish to make your night interesting."

Hearing her name brought her out of her thoughts. [member="Vokun"] was certainly receptive, though Kay liked to hide much of how she thought or felt when in the company of strangers. Still it didn't surprise her that some of it happened to have come out."No disrespect taken. I was merely...taking a back seat in the moment. I know how rare it can be to have private time and I'd rather not intrude on yours."

She glanced around for a moment, mapping out the route through the zoo in her head that would bring her to the exit. "It's getting late. I'll see myself out and head back home. Should there be a desire for establishments like yours on any of the worlds under my care, I'll let you know. Thank you for the tour. I bid you all goodnight."

Kay bowed her head to them and then turned to follow the map in her head, hoping that she wouldn't be followed. It wasn't that she was up to no good, she just didn't want to interrupt the trio. The junctions in the zoo would give her a bit of a pause before she'd managed to find the exit. She took her commlink out of a hidden pocket in her dress and signalled her pilot. ~This is Kay. I'm coming back.~ No doubt her guards would find her quickly enough to escort her to her ship.
