STRENGTHS
- Durable: The Beviin Transport has layered armor plating across its hull, providing exemplarily protection should the layered shielding fail.
- Hyperdrive: The Beviin Class Transport is capable of entering and exiting hyperspace on its own power, allowing it to be deployed in a vast number of circumstances at a moments notice without being forced to rely on a carrier.
- Angles: While the Beviin is well armed for a transport vessel, with forward mounted laser cannons and missiles, it has no rear or side facing weaponry, and can be easily flanked, requiring a dedicated fighter escort.
- Elongated: The design of the Beviin means that while it is approaching a target nose first, it provides a small, heavily armored front for enemy fire. But when it levels off, its long extended central section provides a perfect target for enemy fire.
The Beviin Class Transport is the Mandalorian Unions version of the Kom'rk Class Fighter of the Clone Wars era Death Watch. While not as heavily armed or maneuverable as the Kom'rk, the Beviin makes up for this with an increased troop carrying capacity, as well as the capability of carrying small combat vehicles. The troop compartments are located along either side of the vessel, with each individual 'pod' capable of holding two fully armored warriors inside. When The Beviin draws close to its target, these pods can be opened all at once or individually, disgorging its troop compliment without landing, providing the soldiers within are equipped with jetpacks. Upon landing, a rear facing ramp will lower and release any vehicle that the transport is carrying, or any soldiers not equipped with jetpacks.
