Description: The Beviin-Class Corvette was a fast attack craft utilized by Mandalorian Clan Solus some time after the Second Mandalorian Excision. Commissioned by clan leader Cynthia Solus, the Beviin-class corvette was developed by MandalMotors and constructed at its main shipyard facility above Mandalore. At a length of 195 meters and a width of 90 meters the Beviin-class was marked by sleek lines and a long, angular frame. Its modest space frame provided adequate space for two fighters and a single dropship located in a small ventral hangar and its angled design allowed for adequate coverage for the ship's laser cannons and turbolasers. Propelled by several powerful sublight engines, the Beviin-class had no problem outrunning and dizzying most large cruisers and destroyers which made it an effective fast attack craft in groups. However, its light armor and passable shields made it almost impossible to take on such vessels head on and as such the corvette was used as a hunter-killer of smaller capital craft and starfighters.

The Bevvin-Class carried a crew of over 100 but could be flown by a trio of pilots. It also offered a sophisticated med-bay and barracks network that were connected to drop pods which doubled as one of the ship's evacuation contingencies. These features allowed the Beviin-class to support an entire company of Clan Solus' Mandalorians and made it an excellent troop insertion and force projection tool for the clan. Contrary to its drop pods and escape pods, the Beviin-Class was not made to maneuver in atmosphere and thus was susceptible to atmospheric fighters and ground to air defenses. Regardless of this draw back however, the Beviin-Class could land within a planet's atmosphere and retained much of its speed.

The cost of production for these vessels would ultimately limit the number of the Beviin-class corvettes constructed for Clan Solus. As such, despite the Beviin-Class' exceptional combat ability many were used as patrol craft in the home system of Clan Solus and as support ships to The Cabur, a heavily modified Kandosii-Type II Dreadnought that the Mandalorian clan utilized as their flagship.
